Job Description
Purpose of the job:
The Medical Laboratory Technician is a key member of the PHASE Lab responsible for performing a wide range of laboratory tests and analyses on various biological samples. This role needs to ensure accurate and timely results that contribute to molecular diagnosis and treatment.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Collect and process various biological samples such as blood, urine, and tissue for analysis.
- Perform laboratory tests and analyze laboratory data to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of all laboratory procedures and results.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in the training and supervision of new laboratory staff.
Knowledge & Requirements:
- High diploma in Medical laboratory science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Studies or related fields
- Holder of Hong Kong Medical Laboratory Technologists Board Part II Registration License or above
- Relevant experience working in medical laboratory is an advantage
- Welcome to fresh graduate with major in Medical Laboratory Science and passion for Molecular Diagnostics
