Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Senior Materials Handling Engineer, the appointee will mainly perform the following duties:

• To perform hands-on operations of materials handling plant safely and efficiently in the Materials Handling Control Room
• To ensure all operational and environmental requirements are controlled within limits during all phases of operations
• To carry out routine checks, tests and other technical operations as required
• To direct and supervise the workforce to operate the materials handling plant
• To investigate, solve plant issues and handle emergency incidents
• To perform shift duties

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related disciplines with a minimum of 1 year's work experience in materials handling plant operation, electrical, mechanical, marine or production engineering, or
• Higher Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related disciplines with a minimum of 2 years' practical experience in materials handling plant operations, electrical, mechanical, marine or production engineering
• Holder of a valid class 1 and 2 driving license an advantage
• Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Chief Technical Services Engineer (Protection), the appointee will mainly perform the following duties:

• To assist in installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance and improvement of the protection systems as well as system surveillance equipment for the Company's generation, transmission and distribution networks
• To calculate fault levels and protection settings, investigate into system faults and defects and prepare evaluation report
• To supervise a small team of technicians and conduct contractor management
• To design, maintain and assemble protection test facilities and instruments
• To perform call-out duties and work at irregular hours occasionally

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• A minimum of 3 years' work experience, preferably in power system engineering
