Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager to oversee the engineering and maintenance operations of our manufacturing plant in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in facility engineering, with a proven track record in management.

What You'll Do
  • Manage and maintain all facility infrastructure, including electrical, plumbing, and water supply systems etc.
  • Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure optimal facility performance.
  • Ensure facilities projects are completed effectively, adhering to strict budgetary requirements, timetables, and safety and quality requirements.
  • Conduct routine evaluations of specialized systems to make sure all the setting can meet the safety guidelines and legal requirements.
  • Overseeing workplace examinations, safety audits, and security evaluations to guarantee a law-abiding and safe working environment.
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient facility operations.
  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for facility operations and projects.

Requirements

Who we're looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in facility engineering or a similar role.
  • Have experience with GMP or HACCP standards in the Pharmaceutical, manufacturing or food industry, which will be an advantage.
  • Prior management experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead teams.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and water supply systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proficient in project management and budgeting.
  • Experience in KPI set-up and facility project management.
