This role primarily provides risk management and regulatory compliance advisory to PCCW Group and its insurance business in order to ensure the relevant business teams operate in strict adherence to applicable internal policy standards and regulatory requirements.
Your role:
- Provide risk management and regulatory compliance support to ensure effective controls on the daily operation of PCCW Group and its insurance business
- Maintain an effective implementation of the Risk and Compliance governance structure for relevant business activities
- Coordinate with the First Line of Defense and Group Legal team to enable business untis are operating in a strict compliance with relevant laws, regulations and internal policy guidelines
- Monitor the current relevant regulatory landscape and devise action plan corresponding to changes of regulatory requirements
- Organize training/ briefing with business units to promote their awareness of the Group policy requirements
- Liaise with the First Line of Defence on the preparation of risk and compliance reporting to relevant management/ relevant authorities/ insurance principals
- Support the review and evaluation of commercial deals and new initiatives of the business units
To succeed in this role:
- University degree with a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in risk management/regulatory compliance, preferably gained from the insurance industry
- Sound knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and guidelines, e.g. HKIA
- Proficient communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Prior experience in engagement with regulators is preferred
- Knowledge of life insurance and general insurance products is a plus
- Self-motivated, independent team player with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese

Ares is seeking a Vice President in Enterprise Risk, to join our dedicated Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team in Hong Kong. Within ERM, we strive to execute sound risk management strategies in support of the firm. To achieve this, we partner broadly across internal stakeholders to identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor current and emerging risks. The interaction with numerous groups and the range of projects that ensue provide for a challenging and multi-faceted work environment.
This role will help us administer and continue to expand our ERM program to support local jurisdictions covering Asia. We are seeking an individual who will have visibility across the organization and who will help us build, implement, and scale the risk identification & controls assessment component. We are looking for an individual whose experience, insights and innovative thinking will elevate our program, who is a strategic communicator, excited to partner with others on and around the team, work cross-functionally with business units and execute on aligned priorities. This position is responsible for collaborating with departments and team members across the organization to develop and implement all components of the firm’s enterprise risk management framework, including our integrated, enterprise-wide approach to building and maintaining a robust risk management feedback loop.
Primary Functions And Essential Responsibilities
- Coordinate with global teams and execute local updates to the Enterprise Risk Management framework
- Coordinate and execute on the full lifecycle of the risk identification and assessment process
- Establish protocols focused on identifying emerging risks to feed the risk and control self-assessments on an ongoing basis
- Review existing risk taxonomy, risk rankings and reporting, to challenge assumptions and highlight risks that may have been missed for inclusion in the risk inventory
- Participate in the ongoing risk monitoring such as development of KRIs, metrics, dashboards, and other capabilities to analyze enterprise risks
- Develop an integrated risk reporting model that will facilitate prioritization and transparency
- Evolve risk aggregation, reporting and emerging risk identification to an ongoing dynamic, forward-looking capability
- Coordinate cross-collaboration scenario planning exercises and lead various business resiliency initiatives
- Liaise with cross department as needed to ensure robust participation in the risk assessment process
- Centrally aggregate identified business risks, oversee mitigation plans and track closure of action items
- Maintain and review the risk inventory of relevant risk events
- Facilitate and convene relevant local governance committees to foster alignment and consistency in risk awareness. Also, report findings and reporting to senior leadership and relevant governing structures.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements relevant to risk management in Asia (eg. SFC, MAS) and liaise with auditors where relevant.
- Stay informed on industry trends and developments to advance the enterprise risk program
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field from an accredited university
- Risk Management certifications a plus but not required
- 6+ years of relevant work experience
- General industry knowledge and experience from a financial services or investment / wealth management organization
- Prior experience in enterprise or operational risk management
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements relevant to risk in Asia (eg. SFC, MAS) and global standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Proficiency with Salesforce and visual analytics tools such as Tableau and PowerBI is a plus but not required
- Strong organizational, problem solving, documentation, analytical, presentation, and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, often requiring timely solutions to complex problems
- Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and competing demands, strong time management and prioritization skills
- An analytical mind and a passion/interest in bringing new ideas to increase efficiency of existing processes
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and strong client focus

- Strong leadership and decision making skills

Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia) Limited (“ICBC (Asia)”) is the flagship of overseas business of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited (“ICBC”) – currently the largest commercial bank in China, and it is one of the domestic systemically important banks (D-SIBs) in Hong Kong. Responsibilities
- Manage daily operational activities of Credit Card Settlement, ATM Settlement, Time Deposit, Faster Payment System (FPS) and Autopay Operations.
- Formulate strategic plans for the section to meet with service and operational goals set by the management
- Monitor and review the set up, maintenance and updates of the processing systems and operating procedures of the section
- Implement operations policies and procedures of the section to ensure they are carried out in proper manner and are strictly followed by branches and the staff in the section
- Assist Department Head to handle personnel functions including hiring and training to ensure the smooth running of the Department
- Co-ordinate with Transaction Processing Centre Head to maintain a good operational control and branch activities
- Work with Retail Banking Product Team to advise on new products operational design
- Provide operations support to AML Compliance Officer on AML activities and new account opening
- University graduate or equivalent academic achievement
- At least 8-10 years corporate banking experience of which 6-8 years are in operations management position
- In-depth knowledge of corporate banking products/ services and their operational activities
- Knowledge of the regulations and procedures of Hong Kong Interbank Clearing Ltd (HKICL) and CCASS from the Hong Kong Security Clearing Co (HKSCC)
- Strong leadership and decision making skills
- Excellent managerial and planning skills
- Initiative, systematic, active and energetic
- Good communication skills and fluent in both spoken and written Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) and English

The team: The Revenue Department plays a pivotal role in Clearwater's growth in APAC. Comprising five verticals - Operations, New Sales, Solutions Engineering, Sales Development, and Partnerships - the Revenue team is essential in expanding our footprint and executing strategic business initiatives.
The role: Clearwater is looking for a Senior Sales Leader to join our APAC Sales team. This is a direct, field sales, quota-carrying position responsible for selling our solutions portfolio spanning the front, middle, and back office to asset management and hedge fund firms.
What you’ll do:
- Deliver and exceed annual SaaS sales targets for a defined territory.
- Build and execute territory and account-based sales strategies, collaborating with internal teams to drive deals to closure effectively.
- Lead the sales process from qualified leads through to close, including MEDDICC qualification, executive presentations, business case/ROI development, proposal, and contract negotiation.
- Diligently track, update, manage, and forecast net new revenue in Salesforce.
- Build and manage your sales pipeline to ensure quarterly and annual revenue attainment.
- Validate solution fits with prospect needs and engage internal resources as necessary.
- Maintain strong product knowledge of the full solutions suite and competitive offerings.
- Understand prospect’s technology stack, buying process, and stakeholder engagement to align the selling/buying process.
What you’ll need:
- 7+ years of experience in complex, enterprise SaaS sales in FinTech, especially to asset management, insurance, and wealth management firms.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Proven track record of achieving/exceeding revenue goals/quota.
- Hungry, humble, with a Challenger Sale mindset.
- Proven ability to manage pipeline and forecast accurately from lead to close.
- Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships, including at CxO levels.
- Collaborative team player.
- Strong industry knowledge and existing network.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
