- Work with the relevant teams to ensure delivery for our HR processes in the country. Solve for compliance matters and review local policies in the context of the market.
- Contribute to the deployment of country focused HR programs and initiatives, aligned to the country People plan.
- Manage local employment policy and practices to ensure legal and regulatory compliance. Provide local context and advice on HR related matters. Provide local context and advice on HR related matters.
- Work with the HR Compliance team, Process Ownership team, User Support team and the relevant COE teams on prioritizing and mitigating market related risks.
- Drive recommendations and prioritization to ensure work is in service of the end of end delivery of our Googler Experience in region.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- 5+ years of HR experience, with expertise in talent acquisition, payroll administration, and HR operations.
- Solid knowledge of labor laws and ability to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS (SAP SuccessFactor, FlexSystem), managing various HR functions digitally.
- Expertise in payroll processing, including sales commission calculations, allowances, and final payments.
- Proven ability to implement strategic hiring plans, workforce planning, and market trend analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in employee engagement, including organizing staff events and company functions.
- Strong analytical skills to monitor HR metrics and develop workforce insights.
- Leadership and teamwork abilities, supporting collaboration within HR and across departments.
- Fluent English and Chinese (Putonghua) – written and spoken; other languages would be an asset.
- Based in Hong Kong (Lok Ma Chau).

RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Execute end-to-end recruitment for non-store and store management staff, ensuring timely hiring.
- Develop strategic hiring plans aligned with business objectives and workforce needs.
- Collaborate with recruitment agencies and employment bodies to source top candidates.
- Conduct reference checks, probation reviews, and performance assessments.
- Oversee onboarding and induction programs to ensure smooth transitions for new hires.
Payroll & Compensation Management
- Manage payroll cycles for full-time and part-time staff, ensuring accurate calculations for sales commissions, allowances, and final payments.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws in payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Provide salary benchmarking insights based on market trends.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure all HR policies & procedures comply with local labor regulations.
- Oversee HRIS implementation and modifications, ensuring seamless data management.
- Maintain employee records and monitor headcount requirements.
- Conduct exit interviews, final payment calculations, and employment verification requests.
Employee Engagement & Organizational Development
- Design and execute staff communication programs to foster engagement and transparency.
- Organize and coordinate company events, including annual gatherings and employee functions.
- Support learning & development initiatives, ensuring employees receive relevant training.
