- Business-native proficiency in English, Mandarin, Cantonese (presentations & regulatory drafting)
- Currently based in Hong Kong
- Deep familiarity with Hong Kong capital markets and institutional investor engagement
- Proven ability in financial modeling and capital transactions analysis
- Strong stakeholder management skills across BD&Strategy, R&D and Finance

We are currently recruiting an Investor Relations Lead for APAC to join our Hong Kong office.
After the successful launch of The Partnerships in the U.S. in 2022, we are looking to replicate that success in APAC and are seeking an Investor Relations lead, APAC to support that initiative. The Partnership is a membership that offers senior members of asset management business development teams a unique, multi-faceted opportunity to connect, engage and learn with decision makers from preeminent institutions and their consultants.
The Investor Relations, APAC Partnerships will focus on developing LP relationships across the region, working closely with the wider Partnerships team to develop and execute numerous initiatives, including sourcing event speakers and building out advisory boards. The role requires a deep understanding of the APAC investor landscape.
Responsibilities
- Mapping the region to understand key players across the investor spectrum
- Build and nurture strong relationships with allocators and investment consultants, conduct regular calls and meetings to exact and record key LP data
- Keep up to date with industry and market trends, people moves, new investment strategies and headlines

- Collaborate on crafting interesting content for conferences, diving into market research to co-author agendas that highlight trending topics, key challenges, and exciting opportunities

- Travel to event locations to ensure the program runs smoothly and delight investors with a top-notch experience

Job Description
- General ledger to source reconciliation, and work along with other team members on financial accounting and controls duties;
- Month-end closing, preparation of journal entries and supporting schedules for posting to ledger;
- Ensure proper reconciliation of inter-companies accounts with affiliates and to investigate any discrepancies noted;
- Analyze material variance on the financial results in the course of month-end closing process, and provide input to team members for explaining the variance;
- Prepare schedules and reporting package to fulfil group reporting requirements;
- Preparation of financial disclosure and annual reports and other financial disclosure
- Support internal and external audits and review of financial statements
- Participate in Finance projects to take initiative on driving changes in workflow and processes
- Prepare HKMA regulatory returns and provide inputs for other returns if necessary
- Participate into banking return automation and various system enhancement projects
- Perform assessment on the regulatory reporting treatment for current / new products and business
- Bachelor degree holder, preferred with major in Accounting, Finance and Business Administrations;
- Qualified accountant preferred;
- With three to five years work experience in financial institutions or banks audit at CPA firms
- Growth mindset to aim at development personally and contribute to the team

We are looking to hire an Assistant Manager - Financial Reporting to join our team in Hong Kong
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide support to overseas finance teams in daily accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions in accordance with accounting principles.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of the overseas finance teams’ reports submission to ensure adherence to accounting standards, group policies, and statutory requirements.
- Support the preparation and analysis of monthly and annual financial reports, contributing to the overall financial reporting process.
- Contribute to the year-end audit process, preparing necessary documentation and liaising with auditors to ensure compliance with auditing standards.
- Support finance-related projects, applying financial expertise to improve processes and systems within the finance function.
- Undertake ad-hoc financial assignments and projects, support the finance team in achieving its objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field, with foundational knowledge in accounting practices and financial reporting.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably with Big 4 experience or a role focused on financial reporting.
- Pursuit of a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is advantageous, reflecting a commitment to professional growth.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite), enabling efficient financial analysis and reporting.
- Good communication skills in English and Chinese, with the ability to articulate financial information effectively.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with IFRS (for standalone company)
- Oversee and review general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and proper classification
- Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations (e.g. intercompany balances, accruals, prepayments, other receivables and other payables)
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis, providing insights to management
- Undertake special projects and ad hoc analyses as required by senior management or business needs
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is highly preferred
- Professional accounting qualification is highly preferred
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years experience in finance or accounting roles, with experience in audit field is a plus
- Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting principles
- Experience with Netsuite accounting systems is highly desirable
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling)

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit quarterly and annual statutory filings to regulatory authorities.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing processes.
- Handle accounting entries and perform account reconciliations.
- Assist in enhancing systems and workflow procedures to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy.
- Coordinate with external auditors during year-end audits and manage audit-related requests.
- Provide support on ad-hoc assignments as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in the insurance industry.
- Candidates with more experience may be considered for the Assistant Manager level.
- Strong communication skills in English and Chinese (both written and spoken).
- Knowledge of IFRS17, IFRS9, SAP, or RBC is a strong advantage.
