Job summary:
We are looking for a full-time Trust Administrator to join our friendly international team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the governance, management and effective running their own portfolio of clients and their advisors, delivering an efficient, informed and personal service.
They will work closely with the senior management team to service the clients and where required will be actively involved in identifying their clients’ needs and anticipating commercial opportunities. They will also collaborate with other Group offices in delivering client service, particularly the BVI office.
Job Accountabilities:
- Day to day running of own portfolio of clients. Tasks will involve:
- Ensuring that statutory records are kept up-to-date and are accurately always maintained
- Performing annual reviews of all entities within own portfolio
- Liaison with respective departments regarding accounting and taxation issues
- Liaison with clients and intermediaries both by telephone and in writing
- Monitor debt level to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices
- Statutory work – ensuring that statutory records are kept up to date and are accurately maintained at all times
- Entering payments and identify receipts as required
- Preparation of minutes/resolutions of the Trustee / Board for routine matters
- Entity reviews – to assist with clearing any action points following the annual reviews
- General administrative tasks relating to the running of Trust and Company structures
- Ad hoc project work of a complex and non-complex nature
Minimum Education and Experience
- Ideally be educated to ‘A’ level and should hold a professional qualification relevant to this opening.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience trust and corporate services with a good working knowledge of both Hong Kong and the
- BVI legislation.
- Maintain evidence of continuing professional development and will take an active role in shaping their own development to stay relevant with the activities of the client base.
