Job Overview

The role involves leading cloud architecture initiatives, developing blueprints, and collaborating with various teams to implement effective cloud solutions aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and document the current technology landscape and establish architecture standards and governance.
• Create target architecture blueprints and develop roadmaps to transition from current to target architecture.
• Partner with business units to understand needs and manage solution architecture design.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, application, and security teams to execute the architecture roadmap.
• Align with Regional and Corporate Architecture teams on blueprints and roadmaps.
• Manage architecture approvals for Hong Kong, including PTAB, RTAB, and ETAB.

Qualifications

• University degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in IT, with at least 5 years as an architect.
• Experience in building architecture blueprints and presenting them for approval.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, AliCloud) and cloud migration strategies.
• Experience with container architecture, event-driven architecture, DevOps, and DevSecOps.
• Fluent in Cantonese and English; TOGAF certification preferred.
• Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus.

Candidates with less experience may be considered for a Senior Manager, Architecture role.

**Job Description**
+ Propose design options, and develop it under the supervision of Senior Architect
+ Excellent sense of graphics and design concepts
+ Excellent 3D modeling and visual graphic skills
+ Be accountable for design quality and progress; coordinate with the other team members to complete the design tasks
+ Produce drawings, presentation materials, design reports, and other relevant documents which are required as day-to-day design process and deliverables as per contracts of the assigned projects
+ Coordinate design works with other disciplines within AECOM as well as external consultants and suppliers
+ Candidates with more experience are also accountable for client management, team management, project management and complex technical problems solving
+ Occasional oversea travel to mainland China is required
**Qualifications**
+ Degree in Architecture or equivalent
+ Familiar with applications in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper
+ 3-5 years of relevant working experience
+ Fluency in written and spoken English, Putonghua preferred but not essential.
+ Open to overseas candidates, working visa sponsorship is available for this position.

+ Design experience on various scale projects and front-end client/consultant presentations.

+ Lead the design development of architecture projects across Hong Kong and China
+ Drive conceptual design, schematic planning, and detailed development with aesthetic, functional, and regulatory considerations
+ Collaborate with internal design teams, clients, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain design integrity

• Assist in developing project plans, defining scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines
• Coordinate project activities, resources, and information and providing updates to stakeholders
• Analyze project data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Prepare reports and presentations on project status, performance metrics, and risk assessments
• Assist in developing and managing project budgets
• Monitor financials and report variances to project managers
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Maintain a risk register and ensure timely resolution of issues
• Collaborate on implementing risk management plans
• Organize and participate in project meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes
• Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible
• Process invoices, create purchase orders, verify insurance and bonds
• Prepare and send agreements with attachments
• Resolve outstanding issues with payments, project accounting, purchase orders, and other matters
• Any other ad-hoc assignments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience project management analyst, or related fields. Previous experience in project management or a similar role is preferred.
• Proficiency in both written and verbal English. Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in project management software, tools, and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (i.e. Power apps, Power BI)
• Excellent communication skills (writing and speaking)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience in data analysis and reporting
