Role Purpose

Information Technology Innovation & Ventures
The Senior Manager of Innovation & Venture at a bank is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and leveraging emerging technologies to enhance business growth, customer experience, and operational efficiency of the bank. This role requires strong collaboration with internal stakeholders, fintech partners, regulators, and external innovation ecosystems to implement cutting-edge solutions aligned with HASE's digital transformation strategy. The role holder will be responsible for developing and executing the bank's fintech and innovation strategy, managing an innovation portfolio, and fostering a culture of experimentation and innovation including the commercialization aspects keep up to trend with new technologies such as agentic AI with cost reduction as a key performance indicator.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Senior Manager, Innovation & Ventures.
Principal responsibilities
- Successful commercialization of Artificial Intelligence by working closely with both the business and IT and be able to successfully measure cost savings.
- Develop and drive a bold, future-ready innovation strategies that support Hang Seng's business goals, including revenue growth, cost optimization and enhanced digital competitiveness. Garner supports from business stakeholders, including C-level executives and business heads.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including fintech companies, venture capital firms, technology providers, industry experts, and academic institutions to explore co-development opportunities.
- Engage with internal stakeholders (business unit, IT, risk, compliance, etc.) to align innovation efforts and promote FinTech adoption bank wide.
- Act as a key liaison with regulators to ensure that emerging technology initiatives comply with evolving regulatory framework while driving fintech innovation in the banking sector.
- Act as the go-to expert on fintech, emerging technology and digital disruption, providing insights and guidance to senior management and business units
Requirements

This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organisation need and individual performance.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee the Ground Services Equipment (GSE) pooling scheme
- Monitor the service performance of contractors and licensees, identify gaps in operational efficiency, and conduct regular review meetings with relevant parties to drive continuous improvement
- Develop strategies for the installation of chargers to support airside operations
- Facilitate testing of new chargers with electric vehicles and newly acquired GSE
- Procure GSE that complies with airside charging requirements
- Explore innovations in autonomous vehicles, GSE and other new technologies in the market to enhance ramp process optimisation
Requirements:
- Degree holder with a minimum of 6 years' relevant work experience, preferably in ramp operations, GSE maintenance, and the implementation of technology in ramp operations
- A team player with good communication, interpersonal, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented, well-organised, and able to work under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
- Possession of a valid HK driving license is an advantage
