If you want to experience how things are done in the Underwriting & Claims Services team at our Hong Kong Branch, join us on a permanent, full-time basis commencing at the earliest possible date as an Assistant Manager, Medical Underwriting.
You can look forward to
- Engaging in underwriting risk assessments within the delegated authority limit following company underwriting guidelines, team consistency and compliance requirements.
- To be involved in product development initiatives by reviewing product specifications, policy provisions, and underwriting guidelines.
- Providing underwriting and product training for client companies and assist with business development seminars.
- Assessing and reviewing claims in compliance with the terms and conditions of the policy
- Ensuring service level Turn Around Time are met.
- To be one of the point of contact for client queries related to underwriting and claims.
- Preparing departmental reports when required and to participate in ad hoc tasks, such as guideline maintenance etc. as assigned by the Manager.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in life and health underwriting or claims or Registered nurse
- Bilingual fluency in English and Chinese as you will be liaising with local and external stakeholders
- Positive attitude and strong prioritization skill
- High Net Worth (HNW) underwriting experience a definite advantage
- Exhibiting a confident and engaging approach, self motivated
- Able to work independently as well as contribute effectively as a team player
- Possessing exceptional analytical abilities, along with a keen sense of judgment and a strong business acumen.
- Adaptable and proficient in handling various products and catering to diverse clientele.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadline

Applications are invited for appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor of Practice in the Department of Family Medicine and Primary Care, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 531830), to commence as soon as possible, on a three- to four-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
The Department of Family Medicine and Primary Care, School of Clinical Medicine aims to educate doctors to practise medicine at the highest standard, prioritising the best interests of their patients and the community, and to inspire them to strive for and achieve academic excellence. The mission of the Department is to promote quality primary care through education, patient-centred service and research in family medicine.
Applicants should possess a primary medical qualification registrable with the Medical Council of Hong Kong and a higher qualification in general practice/family medicine, preferably holding a FHKAM (Family Medicine) or equivalent specialist qualification. They should demonstrate excellence in clinical services; have a strong commitment and experience in undergraduate teaching; and exhibit the capacity and potential in research. They should also be fluent in English as teaching, research and professional activities are conducted in English.
The appointee is expected to participate in the planning and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate medical education programmes in Family Medicine; conduct clinical research; develop and provide clinical services in primary care in the HKUMed affiliated hospitals and clinics; and contribute to administrative duties in the Department, Faculty and University. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. A monthly cash allowance will be offered to the successful candidate. Housing benefits will also be provided as applicable.

Perform daily administrative activities, in conjunction with the Clinical Research Associates and Regulatory and Start-Up teams, to ensure a complete and accurate Trial Master File delivery.
Essential Functions
- Assist Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) and Regulatory and Start-Up (RSU) team with accurately updating and maintaining clinical documents and systems (e.g., Trial Master File (TMF)) that track site compliance and performance within project timelines.
- Assist the clinical team with the preparation, handling, distribution, filing, and archiving of clinical documentation and reports according to the scope of work and standard operating procedures.
- Assist with periodic review of study files for completeness.
- Assist CRAs and RSU with preparation, handling and distribution of Clinical Trial Supplies and maintenance of tracking information.
- Assist with the tracking and management of Case Report Forms (CRFs), queries and clinical data flow.
- Act as a central contact for the clinical team for designated project communications, correspondence and associated documentation.
- May accompany CRAs on site visits to assist with clinical monitoring duties upon completion of required training.
- High School Diploma or equivalent Req.
- 3 years administrative support experience.
- Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Written and verbal communication skills including good command of English language.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
- Awareness of applicable clinical research regulatory requirements, i.e., Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines as provided in company training.

Job Description
Perform daily administrative activities, in conjunction with the Clinical Research Associates and Regulatory and Start-Up teams, to ensure a complete and accurate Trial Master File delivery.
**Essential Functions**
- Assist Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) and Regulatory and Start-Up (RSU) team with accurately updating and maintaining clinical documents and systems (e.g., Trial Master File (TMF)) that track site compliance and performance within project timelines.
- Assist the clinical team with the preparation, handling, distribution, filing, and archiving of clinical documentation and reports according to the scope of work and standard operating procedures.
- Assist with periodic review of study files for completeness.
- Assist CRAs and RSU with preparation, handling and distribution of Clinical Trial Supplies and maintenance of tracking information.
- Assist with the tracking and management of Case Report Forms (CRFs), queries and clinical data flow.
- Act as a central contact for the clinical team for designated project communications, correspondence and associated documentation.
- May accompany CRAs on site visits to assist with clinical monitoring duties upon completion of required training.
**Qualifications**
- High School Diploma or equivalent Req.
- 3 years administrative support experience.
- Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Written and verbal communication skills including good command of English language.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
- Awareness of applicable clinical research regulatory requirements, i.e., Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines as provided in company training.
- Knowledge of applicable protocol requirements as provided in company training.

Applications are invited for appointment as Tenure-Track Clinical Associate Professor/Clinical Assistant Professor in Periodontology of the Faculty of Dentistry (Ref.: 532165), to commence as soon as possible, on a four-year fixed- term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and consideration for tenure before the expiry of a second four-year fixed-term contract. Exceptionally outstanding candidates at Associate Professor level may be considered for appointment on tenure terms subject to approval.
The Faculty of Dentistry is the only dental school in Hong Kong and the only one in Greater China that uses English as the medium of instruction. The high quality of the Faculty’s undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, research excellence and clinical/professional services have attained global recognition, as evidenced by the Faculty’s global rankings among the top three by the QS World University Rankings by Subject for nine out of the past eleven years (2015-2025). The Faculty’s strategic research themes include Clinical Artificial Intelligence, Craniofacial Regeneration, Microbiome Innovation, Oral Cancer, and Population Oral Health. The Faculty also plays an important role in public and professional education through its knowledge exchange (KE) activities as well as in oral health research and promotions in international, regional and local communities.
Applicants should demonstrate excellence in clinical care, research and teaching in the field of Implant Dentistry on top of sound knowledge and training in Periodontology. They are expected to work collaboratively in a dynamic and diverse environment, develop a competitive research portfolio, and contribute to the curricula available at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. Ability to partake undergraduate periodontology teaching / education and fluency in spoken and written English are essential.
For appointment as Clinical Associate Professor, applicants should possess a Dental Bachelor's degree or equivalent, clinical specialist in Periodontology or equivalent status with proficiency in Implant Dentistry, a Ph.D. degree or equivalent, and an excellent track record in research. They should have (i) proven ability for quality research, publications in high quality international journals, and evidence of local and regional recognition for scholarship and professional expertise; (ii) demonstrated ability in undergraduate and postgraduate education, clinical practice and research; (iii) demonstrated clinical expertise; (iv) demonstrated participation in Faculty and University affairs; and (v) demonstrated ability in KE activities, and leadership in professional education programmes or community engagement.
For appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor, applicants should possess a Dental Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and a Master of Dental Surgery degree or equivalent in Periodontology with good clinical experiences in Implant Dentistry. They should have (i) ability in undergraduate and postgraduate clinical teaching and practice; (ii) potential for and interest in research; (iii) proven ability in clinical excellence; (iv) ability and willingness to participate in Faculty affairs; and (v) participation in KE activities. Publications in international peer-reviewed journals are an advantage.
The appointee will engage in the clinical and didactic teaching in Periodontology at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, supervise research projects, be expected to develop their own line of research, and participate in the clinical and administrative duties of the Faculty.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will also be provided as applicable.
