**Job title: (Associate) Medical Manager**

**Main responsibilities:**
+ Drive the development of internal/ external engagement plans establishing trusted relationships with HCPs and professional bodies
+ Drive development and execution of local pre-launch/post-launch Medical Affairs and engagement plan as well as local communication strategy in alignment with business strategies
+ Provide scientific support to internal and external stakeholders
+ Increase awareness of disease management in specific therapeutic area by designing, developing and delivering effective contents in company owned medical education events and also by coordinating symposia in third parties events and other continuing educational programs
+ Develop medical plans and ensure execution of the medical plans
+ Create educational materials with the consideration of all medical, regulatory/legal and ethical points of view based on local SOP (standard operating procedure) in place
+ Analyze clinical studies/information to ensure information integrity and able to deliver medical information to internal/external stakeholders
+ Ensure planning and execution of local Medical activities (Advisory boards, local symposia and conferences, round tables, workshops etc.)
**_About you_**
**Education:**
+ Medical or doctor degree preferred, Master of Science diploma major in Pharmacy, pharmacology, nursing or other health care related fields required
**Experience & Knowledge**
+ At least 4 years of successful Medical advisory experience in Pharma industry, exposure on therapeutic areas of specialty care is an advantage
+ Good exposure on pre-launch products
+ Familiar with clinical trial related practices and regulations as well as recognize company's core value
+ Familiar with health care system, including patient education and support
+ Possess good administration, strategic thinking and planning ability
+ Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
+ Familiar with product and market related knowledge
+ Possess good presentation skills
+ Cantonese proficiency
+ Candidates with less relevant experience can be considered as Associate Medical Manager.

Develop & Lead Stryker Medical Education Program

  • Engage physicians and healthcare professional thought leaders to develop world class Medical Education programs across APAC
  • Contribute to the development of HCP blended learning journeys for new and commercialized product technologies in collaboration with cross functional partners, field education, and digital education.
  • Identify and implement strategies to address educational needs of customers aligned to Stryker strategic priorities.
  • Develop and maintain internal and external relationships at all levels to achieve company goals
  • Maintain processes and task management habits that ensure flawless execution.
  • Develop strategic relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to build a robust pipeline of diverse clinical faculty for various program types and training opportunities.
  • Track KPI’s to evaluate team output and program impact. Identify areas of improvement and new opportunities to meet organizational goals. Implement solutions and make recommendations to management to improve performance and impact.
  • Ensure best in-class medical education program quality through direct oversight and post program analysis of evaluation data.
  • Oversee and participate in the development, delivery, coordination, review and assessment of all
  • aspects of medical education curriculum to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Ensure physicians’ activities and programs are compliantly conducted in accordance with Stryker policies.

Communication Planning

  • Create content and messaging in partnership with Marketing Communications and utilize most effective platform

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office

About the Role

Responsible for determining the benefits that can be offered and rates to be set for group health insurance applications

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to deliver professional underwriting services to assess the new business application / benefit upgrade / of group medical business.
  • Ensure the smooth operations of Medical Underwriting Dept can be done.
  • Price the group medical quotations in prudent and profitable manner.
  • Assist to strike the balance in between the business top line and bottom line.
  • Closely monitor the claim loss ratio of the whole group medical business portfolio and take appropriate action on premium pricing.
  • Discuss with Policy Admin and Claim Dept to study the feasibility of following the existing terms & conditions of NB quotations.
  • Keep harmony relationship with the intermediaries and S&D Division and closely monitor the changing environment of the employee benefits market in Hong Kong.
  • Ensure the new business quotations can be delivered within our service commitment.
  • Provide 2 ways communications to subordinates to solve the daily operation and staff problems

Requirements:

  • Degree Holder with at least 5 years working experience in group medical pricing and individual medical underwriting
  • Familiar with the group medical insurance operations
  • With good leadership and planning & organization skills
  • Able to work under great pressure, especially the peak session of group business
  • Good written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Good adaptability with changing environment
  • Co-operative and good working attitude
  • Strong problem-solving skills and good time management skills

  • Conducts competitive product analysis and market research of product consumer behavior and professional audience.

  • Develops production and marketing strategies and tactics to ensure effective product placement relative to market opportunity, working closely with product development for a specific product, brand, or product area over its entire life cycle.
  • Works with other functions to finalize product specifications.

  • Serves as technical adviser, demonstrating products and troubleshooting product issues.
  • Optimize ROI for programs and sector budget monitoring


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience. With relevant 2 year working experience in Medical Device/ Pharmaceuticals is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in product launch is preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing mechanism and able to develop & implement Medtronic product marketing strategy independently.
  • Able to absorb complex technical product knowledge and communicate the key messages to others
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment with sales, physician customers and other functional teams and across geographic and organizational boundaries
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Sound project management skill
  • Open-mind, responsible and have strong sense of ownership
  • Highly motivated and positive with “can do “attitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin).

You will be working in a fast-paced organization that promotes cross-functional collaboration to look after business development activities to make high-quality group medical / employee benefits solutions available to our corporate and SME clients’ employees and their loved ones.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

Business development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, including lead generation, prospecting, and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and partners.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns, events, and promotions.

Contribute to our business goals

  • Align with the business's vision, mission, and values to ensure that all activities are consistent with the company's objectives.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the corporate medical and wellness industry, including market trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape.

  • Participate in company-wide initiatives and projects as needed.

Product development & special project management

  • Manage the development and launch of new products and services, including market research, product positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure alignment and coordination across all functions.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues, and take corrective action as needed.
