About Our Company
A dynamic and energetic company engaging in the local construction as a main contractor for major Civil Engineering and Building Maintenance works.
Job Purpose
Responsible for providing human resources services across the Group which covers a broad range of human resources activities including implementation of HR policies, compensation & benefits, recruitment & selection, young engineer development, performance management, staff relations, etc.
Key Accountabilities And Duties
- Perform all HR activities and the whole employee lifecycle to ensure smooth operations but not only limited to recruitment & selection
- Handle payroll and benefits activities, including regular monthly payroll, final payment, leave record maintenance, MPF administration, tax filing and medical program
- Responsible for staff onboarding and exit formalities
- Responsible for annual HR exercises such as performance appraisal, salary review and performance bonus distribution
- Handle employee compensation and ensuring compliance with ECO
- Participate in ad-hoc assignments as required
- Degree Holder in Human Resources Management or related disciplines
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in human resources
- Conversant with Employment Ordinance and other relevant law and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Chinese Word Processing
- Good command in spoken & written English and Chinese
- Immediately availability is a definite advantage

The Role
We are looking for an HR Manager to take ownership of HR operations in Hong Kong. This role is hands-on and detail-oriented, ensuring all HR processes run smoothly—from payroll and statutory compliance to onboarding and offboarding. You will also act as a point of contact for employees and managers, supporting day-to-day HR matters.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Administration :
- Work closely with external payroll vendors to ensure accurate and timely monthly payroll processing.
- Validate payroll inputs (attendance, leave, bonuses, deductions) before submission.
- Address payroll discrepancies and resolve employee queries related to salary, tax, and MPF.
- Ensure compliance with Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department (IRD) tax filing requirements (e.g., BIR56A, IR56B).
Pension & Corporate Insurance Administration
- Oversee the Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme administration, including enrollments, contributions, and withdrawals.
- Liaise with insurance providers for medical, group life, and other corporate insurance programs.
- Handle employee inquiries related to benefits, claims, and coverage.
- Conduct periodic reviews of benefit programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
Employee Lifecycle Management :
- Manage the onboarding & offboarding processes, including documentation, orientation, and exit interviews.
- Maintain accurate employee records (both digital and physical) in compliance with Hong Kong labor laws.
- Handle work visa applications, renewals, and terminations for foreign employees.
- Administer employee contracts, amendments, and internal transfers.
- Ensure compliance with Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and other statutory requirements.
HR Compliance & Reporting
- Stay updated on changes in Hong Kong labor laws and ensure HR policies align with regulations.
- Prepare HR reports for management (headcount, turnover, benefits utilization, quarterly budget forecast).
- Support internal/external audits related to HR operations.
Process Improvements & HR Systems :
- Maintain HRIS data integrity and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on HR operation experience in Hong Kong.
- Strong knowledge of Hong Kong labor laws, payroll, MPF schemes, and payroll/tax regulations.
- Experience working with payroll outsourcing vendors and HRIS systems.
- Organized, methodical and dependable, ensuring precision in work while meeting time-sensitive requirements.
- Proficient in English, and Mandarin is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, strong analytical skills, and ability to handle confidential data.

- Collaborate with internal clients to provide HR services and advice on various HR functions.
- Oversee Casual Labor Management, including weekly payroll operations, MPF administration, annual tax filing, maintenance of related systems, agency performance evaluation and manpower planning.

- Minimum 10 years of experience in HR gained from sizeable companies, preferably listed companies, with at least 3 years at a managerial or supervisory role.
- Well versed with Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, well-organized, fast paced, and flexible at work.
- A team player with a proactive, detailed and result-oriented mindset, a fast learner, able to work independently, with solid skills in talent recruitment and development.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing.
- Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors system is preferred.

Position Description
Working under the guidance of the Assistant Director of HR, you'll thrive in a welcoming, team-oriented, and diverse workplace. Key Responsibilities
HR Business Partner:

- Partner with hiring managers to identify talent, create job ads, conduct interviews. Assist in planning and execute engaging onboarding programs.

- Assist in designing and implementing training programs to support continuous learning within the organisation.

- Degree holder in Human Resources Management or relevant disciplines with a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience. Candidate with lesser experience will be considered as Assistant Officer.

- Demonstrate expertise in HR functions with a strong grasp of Employment Ordinances and industry best practices.
- Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Energetic, flexible, people-oriented and a good team player.
- With strong numerical sense and high accuracy, detail-minded and well-organised.
- Mature, able to work under pressure & independently.
- Advanced user of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.

- Strong understanding of the crypto or fintech industry, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English, with exceptional communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement global HR policies and procedures tailored to the crypto sector.
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering actionable, results-driven solutions through collaboration.
