Senior Research Assistant in the Division of Public Health Laboratory Sciences of the School of Public Health(Ref.: to commence as soon as possible on a one-year temporary term or a two-year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Master's degree with at least one-year post qualification experience, or a Ph.D. degree with a strong background in Microbiology, Immunology, Medical Laboratory Science, or related disciplines. Excellent skills and knowledge in virology and molecular biology are essential. Preference will be given to those with experience in conducting virology research using cell line in the biosafety level 2 laboratory.

We are seeking a proactive and experienced full-time Project Coordinator to support a 9-month innovative anti-drug education initiative. The project utilises AR interactive gamebooks and virtual classrooms to educate secondary school students about the dangers of drug abuse. The successful candidate will oversee project implementation, coordinate activities, and ensure timely achievement of project objectives.
Duties- Coordinate day-to-day operations and ensure adherence to project timeline;
- Organise both online and offline activities (workshops, virtual classes, media campaigns);
- Responsible for graphic design and video production for the project;
- Liaise with schools, government agencies, and community partners;
- Monitor project budget in compliance with funding requirement;
- Collect participant feedback and evaluate programme effectiveness; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
- A Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Education/Communications/Social Sciences or related disciplines;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Proficiency in office software (Excel, PowerPoint) and basic data analysis;
- Experience in graphic/video production (e.g. Adobe Photoshop/Premiere, Canva);
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills; and
- Passionate about youth education and anti-drug initiatives.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in social services or project coordination with prior collaboration with government bodies, schools or NGOs is preferred.
