Position Summary
- This role primarily focuses on leading, managing, and optimizing the SAP Ariba system implementation and post go-live support across the APAC region. The role will take ownership in designing and managing the system operation flows from Supplier Enablement, Purchase Requisition, Approvals, PO creation, manual receiving, invoice reconciliation to interface the transactions to SAP S4 for payment settlement.
- This role will work seamlessly with the stakeholders including the system users from various functions, Procurement, IT, Finance, and legal departments to ensure in-direct procurement requests are captured in the Ariba system, address the exceptional cases and escalate them to relevant stakeholders when necessary, and accountable for system upgrade and implementation when optimization opportunities are found/approved.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Lead and manage the Ariba system independently with in-depth understanding on backend settings and configuration.
- Collaborate with different functions including Procurement, Finance, IT, North America Ariba team, SAP and market business units to gather business requirements and design/propose solutions to support the needs.
- Users and supplier data base maintenance (add/delete suppliers), monitor scheduled tasks, run Import and Export Data, understand Error Messaging and resolve errors related to system interfaces
- Troubleshoot data and workflow issues and work with business to develop custom workflows to support business functions
- Lead supplier enablement strategy across APAC, work with SAP team to meet supplier enablement target. Provide regular trainings to users and suppliers and assist in change management.
- Review system efficiency and propose enhancement for continuous improvement.
- Lead large scale projects and enhancements
- Responsible for ensuring business controls, configurations, and data integrity in accordance with PVH policies and procedures
**Qualification & Experience
Education & Experience:**
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in procurement, system implementation and project management. Experience in Ariba Buying and Invoicing module is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of the Procure to Pay process and experience in managing suppliers and stakeholders' expectations.
- Experience in deployment of large-scale projects and working with multiple stakeholders
- Accounting knowledge is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information System or a related field.
- Ariba certifications in relevant module is a plus.
Skills
- Must have the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities on an aggressive timeline
- Demonstrates ability to communicate with system users and stakeholders across the region / globe and multiple IT domains
