Key Responsibilities

• Support the Product Owner in architecting data-driven product roadmaps that balance user needs with business goals.
• Perform comprehensive market research (trends, user behavior, competitor activities) to drive product innovation.
• Transform product analytics and customer feedback into actionable recommendations for feature optimization, UX enhancements, and roadmap prioritization.
• Develop diagnostic reports and deliver insight-driven presentations through data storytelling frameworks.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Marketing, or Technology).
• 3+ years proven experience as a Product Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with product management tools and methodologies.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.

Job responsibilities also include preparing materials for client engagement, tracking market trends and peer performance comparison.

The successful candidate will be someone willing to seize opportunities to help grow the Schroders Fixed Income business in an evolving environment.

Your Key Responsibilities Include

Product & Client Support

• Development and maintenance of client reporting material, new business materials, databases and general information on the Fixed Income product suite
• Ensure all Fixed Income product presentations and fund updates are produced with high quality for distribution to sales channels
• Collect and analyse comparative advantages among major peers and determine product niche as part of competitor analysis
• Provide regular client reports of market and portfolio performance, as well as portfolio investment strategy, for distribution to existing clients
• Work closely with the investment team, compliance, performance attribution and risk management teams in resolving all client issues
• Ensure RFPs are completed with the highest standards possible and tailored to clients’ needs
• Prepare materials for internal review forums including (but not limited to) FI risk and performance committee in relation to FI portfolios.
  
  

• Participate in formulating overall business strategy including market landscape, competitor analysis and therefore product design
• Streamline existing work processes and establish best practices for the Fixed Income platform in Asia
• Work closely with the Investment Product platform to contribute to the business growth of the Fixed Income business within Asia
• Assist Schroders client events and new business pitches with Investment Directors, portfolio managers, client group representatives and stakeholders, and where required, in client reviews and conference calls with clients and prospects
  
  

• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• A strong knowledge of fixed income instruments, analysis and portfolio management techniques.

• CRM maintenance and use of various reporting platforms to obtain usable LP data

Requirements

Education & Certificates

• Bachelor's degree in analytical subject (e.g. Finance, Economics, Econometrics or Engineering) preferred, with good academic results

Professional Experience

• 1 - 3 years of relevant work/internship experience
• Preferred experience includes: investor relations or business development within financial services, investment banking, capital markets, asset management, managing consulting, international law firm or comparable blue-chip companies
• Candidates should be fluent in English. Proficiency in any Asian language (e.g., Mandarin, Korean, Japanese) would be considered a strong plus.
• Candidates should be able to understand and evaluate both quantitative data and legal documents
• Excellent computer skills, including ability to learn and become the subject matter expert in the systems used to respond to investor and Senior Product Specialist requests
• Strong team player with a collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with colleagues across different functions and regions.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and persuasively in both writing and speaking, tailored to the audience.
• Candidates should have a proactive and entrepreneurial attitude and should be able to show initiative
• High level of energy and enthusiasm to pursue a career in private equity sales and investor relations, as part of an international high-performance team
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Conduct User Acceptance Test (UAT) for different systems, such as Proposal Generation System (PGS), to support product launches and various product and / or regulatory initiatives
• Prepare the business reports as assigned by supervisor and ensure accurate output
• Coordinate and work closely with various departments (e.g. Law, Compliance, Operations, IT, Actuarial and Marketing departments) for assigned tasks to support product launches and various product and / or regulatory initiatives with good quality and timely manner
• Participate in Product Implementation Taskforce and PGS regular meetings to support the implementation of the product launches, various product and / or regulatory initiatives with good quality and timely manner
• Assist in various product maintenance tasks for inforce business (e.g. revamp in existing product literatures, dividend review, periodic due diligence with bank partners, Day 2 product development items, etc.)
• Assist in ad-hoc projects and other duties as required.
  

• University / College graduate with 2-3 years of working experience in insurance products development role, actuarial science or related background is preferred
• Experienced in insurance products development and implementation with UAT experience is preferred
• Self-starter with good analytical ability
• Creative with innovative thinking
• Team player with positive attitude, good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Welcome fresh graduates in actuarial
