As a Product Compliance Specialist, you will play a key role in managing global product labelling and packaging compliance, supporting continuous improvement of compliance systems, and ensuring data accuracy across all stages of product development and production.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain seasonal labelling data (care labels, content information, and regional stickers) in the company's PLM system and with suppliers.
- Ensure regional market-entry labelling requirements (e.g. China sticker labels, bilingual content) are accurate and up to date.
- Oversee packaging compliance activities, including Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) reporting and sustainability declarations.
- Conduct systematic product compliance reviews at key development stages to identify and resolve any labelling or packaging risks before production.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action for reported compliance issues.
- Act as a key communication bridge among internal teams, regional offices, and supply chain partners (T1/T2).
- Provide training, guidance, and best practices to internal and external stakeholders on labelling and packaging compliance topics.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tools, and systems to enhance compliance efficiency and data integrity.
- Participate in sustainability and responsible sourcing initiatives, ensuring alignment with company policies and regional regulations.
Future Project Involvement
- Support the rollout of digital product passport (DPP) and traceability initiatives.
- Review and update shipping manuals and SOPs related to packaging and labelling.
- Help strengthen change control processes to reduce compliance risks linked to product or packaging modifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Product Development, Design, Science, or related disciplines.
- 3-5 years of experience in product, packaging, or labelling compliance within consumer goods, apparel, footwear, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of global regulatory requirements and compliance documentation.
- Experience handling data in a PLM or ERP system.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.
- Effective cross-functional communicator, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in English and Chinese (written and spoken).
- A proactive problem solver with integrity, adaptability, and accountability.

What you'll be doing

- Ensure all products comply with international standards and regulations for children's electronics and toys (e.g., EN71, ASTM F963, CPSIA, FCC, RoHS, REACH).

As a Product Compliance Specialist, you play a crucial role in developing and evolving processes and protocolsto guarantee that Arc'teryx raw materials and finished goodsadhere to global regulatory and safety standards while also ensuring compliance with performance and sustainability declarations. The focus of this role is tosupportcontinuous improvement in the communication and execution of these requirements throughout the product development lifecycle and throughout the organization.
This role is based out of our Hong Kong office. Candidates must be eligible to work in Hong Kong.

The Compliance team works cross-functionally to provide a strong connection between product creation and our supply chain. We bridge the gap between what we build at Arc'teryx and what we value. We embed product integrity & compliance into our processes and systems to ensure our products are globally compliant and are representative of company policies.This work is complex but critical for ensuring integrity & accountability and this role requires close collaboration with internal partners and external suppliers to ensure a robust end-to-end compliance program is in place that anticipates the future needs of the business.
If you were the Product Compliance Specialist now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:- Managing seasonal care and contentdata in our PLM system and with our T2 partners.
- Managing the data for regional market entry labels (e.g. China stickers).
- Managing the data for regional EPR initiatives as they relate to packaging. Submitting reports where required by a Canadian entity.

- You have a minimum of 3-4 years relevant industry experience in a consumer goods setting – working with materials, components and supply chain procurement, compliance, or sustainability. A post-secondary degree in Product Development or Design or related fields is a plus.
