- WeLab Bank is looking for a dynamic Senior Product Manager to lead the product strategy and growth for our Mainland Chinese Visitors (MCV) segment. You’ll own end-to-end product lifecycle management, driving customer acquisition, activation, and long-term engagement through innovative solutions tailored to this unique market.
- Lead product vision, roadmap, and execution for the MCV segment, aligning with overall business goals and market trends.
- Conduct deep market research and customer insights analysis to identify opportunities and pain points for Mainland visitors using Hong Kong digital banking services.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—marketing, tech, design, and customer service—to deliver seamless product experiences.
- Develop and implement targeted go-to-market strategies and promotional campaigns with the MCV team, measuring success through KPIs and iterating based on data.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with external stakeholders to enhance product offerings and expand customer reach.
- Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory changes to ensure product compliance and competitiveness.
- Champion a customer-centric approach, working with customer service to optimize the MCV user journey and satisfaction.
- Use data analytics to drive decision-making, optimize product performance, and report progress to senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- At least 8 years in product management or marketing within banking, fintech, or related sectors.
- Deep understanding of Hong Kong’s digital banking ecosystem and Mainland Chinese visitor behaviors.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Agile, innovative mindset with ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Proven track record in managing partnerships and driving cross-functional collaboration.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English; Cantonese is a plus.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Manager, Product Development and Management .
Principal Responsibilities
In this role you will
- Drive the implementation of new life insurance product initiatives in various distribution channels (including GPB & Wealth, CMB, Brokers, Digital, etc)
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to drive the end-to-end insurance product development cycle–ideation, product engineering, system development, product approval and launch support
- Develop customer-friendly product collaterals and marketing materials to promote HSBC Life insurance offerings
- Support product enhancement and ad-hoc request of changes
- Conduct market study and customer research to better understand emerging market trend and customer needs
- Conduct post implementation review after new product launch so as to identify gaps for future product development
- Ensure timely delivery of core deliverables with high accuracy, service standard and quality to drive business strategy. Ensure all artefacts adhere to the established marketing/product development frameworks and guidelines
To be successful you will need
- Relevant experience in financial services, experience in life insurance preferred
- An advantage to have solid knowledge in life insurance product development and customer collaterals
- Detail-minded, ability to handle multitask in a fast-paced work environment, and prioritize work assignments
- Highly effective communication, coordination and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to be a self-starter with energy and drive in a challenging and dynamic environment and be able to work independently
- Good team player to collaborate with teammates and other counterparts for efficient project delivery
- Strong communication and writing skills in both Chinese and English is a must
- University degree in relevant discipline; any Professional Actuarial Bodies and related qualification is a bonus

This is a permanent position in CITIC Securities Asset Management (HK) Limited's Product Development team, responsible for product development and portfolio structuring projects across all investment sectors.
The position is located in Hong Kong.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle management of asset management products (public funds, private funds, managed accounts, FOF, etc.).
- Conduct market research, client needs analysis, and competitive product studies to develop differentiated product strategies; collaborate with investment and sales teams for new product development.
- Design innovative product solutions that comply with regulatory requirements and align with business planning, covering product structure, investment scope, fee mechanisms, and risk-return profiles.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in asset management, with knowledge of fund setup processes.
- Strong analytical, research, and project management skills.
- Post-graduate degree in finance or related field; first-class academic record preferred.
- Knowledge of Asia-Pacific markets, especially cross-border investment access to PRC markets, is advantageous.
- Proficiency in written English and Chinese, and spoken Mandarin and English.
