Skills & Personal Attributes

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, preferably with exposure to international brands.
  • Proven success in managing the Visual Merchandising function within Luxury Retail.
  • Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels professionally.
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail; capable of working effectively and independently under multiple deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in relevant software and tools used in visual merchandising, such as Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As LOJEL’s visual merchandising executive, you will be responsible for creating innovative store environments that embody the brand's identity and elevate the customer experience. Working across design, construction, and visual merchandising, you will bring LOJEL's unique aesthetic to life in physical retail spaces. Your designs, technical expertise, and project management skills will be critical to delivering new store openings and renovations that showcase the brand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement the global visual merchandising strategy to support regional business objectives.
  • Work closely with commercial team and brand creative team to create the VM guideline for global markets.
  • Create in-store displays that effectively showcase product features and enhance customer engagement.
  • Source and evaluate materials and fixtures that meet LOJEL's quality and environmental standards.
  • Manage the construction project timeline, coordinating with vendors and contractors to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of new store openings and renovations.
  • Develop the initial visual merchandising plan for new store openings, including product displays, lighting, and signage.
  • Conduct regular store visits to assess presentation and compliance with visual standards, providing timely feedback and revisions.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and CoTeam to ensure effective delivery of product launches and campaign messages through visual merchandising.
  • Train store staff on visual merchandising best practices to improve the retail experience.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-3 years of experience in visual merchandising or a related field.
  • Retail brand experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in visual merchandising, retail design, or equivalent.
  • Proficient in SketchUp, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign or related software.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management abilities.
  • Strong project management skills, ensuring all tasks are completed within the projected timeline.
  • Fluent in English. Cantonese/Mandarin is a plus.

  • Initiate the design direction for VM campaign
  • Design and execute VM campaign and in-store product VM
  • Work with vendors for all VM development

  • Handle image shooting, in-store digital asset and video production within timeline and cost control

Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree holder of Art or design related discipline
  • 5 years or above relevant VM experience in retail industry preferably gained from fashion/apparel brands
  • Familiar with design software e.g. AI, PS, AutoCad, 3D Design and video editing tools
  • Proficient in MS Office e.g. PowerPoint
  • Experience in in-store concept development is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Initiate the design direction for VM campaign
  • Design and execute VM campaign and in-store product VM
  • Work with vendors for all VM development
  • Conduct shop visit to maintain shop VM in high quality
  • Handle image shooting, in-store digital asset and video production within timeline and cost control
Requirements
  • Diploma / Degree holder of Art or design related discipline
  • 5 years or above relevant VM experience in retail industry preferably gained from fashion/apparel brands
  • Familiar with design software e.g. AI, PS, AutoCad, 3D Design and video editing tools
  • Proficient in MS Office e.g. PowerPoint
  • Experience in in-store concept development is preferred

Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Visual Merchandising Manager, the incumbent is responsible for teaching, coaching, and training the VM leads of the license and regional key account partners to elevate visual acuity and floorset execution for delivering revenue and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and nurture partnerships with key stakeholders across the licensee and key account network to understand commercial opportunities and promote brand and sales-driving VM presentations that enhance the biggest business opportunities.
  2. Partner with VM leads of license and key account partners on the creation and implementation of all seasonal floorsets.
  3. Identify commercial opportunities and work with local teams to make adjustments to showcase products visually based on customer shopping behaviors and interactions with key product categories.
  4. Manage pre-season floorset planning and execution, including establishing appropriate plans for all floorsets.
  5. Collaborate with VM leads and regional buying teams on seasonal laydowns and oversee floorset mapping with merchandise leads.
  6. Establish thorough knowledge of product assortment and key items, partnering with business leads to identify key opportunities to increase revenue and profitability through accurate store location plans.
  7. Support the development of key store segmentation strategies and partner on the rollout of new evergreen marketing materials.
  8. Coordinate with HQ teams for new store openings, including seasonal fixture planning.
  9. Monitor competitors and communicate relevant trends and strategies to license and key account partners.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Creative Services, Store Design, Buying, and Operations to address business needs.
  11. Drive innovation in VM techniques to promote and elevate seasonal product stories, adapting styling for local aesthetics in collaboration with Buying.
  12. Customize tools and training to meet partner needs, implementing best practices.
  13. Own and deliver training on visual standards, styling, and commercial mindset to license and key account partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Visual, or related disciplines
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant retail experience
  • Strong fashion sense and passion for fashion
  • Proficiency in Google applications and internet tools; Adobe Creative Suite preferred
  • Excellent prioritization, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and project management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication across different time zones
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail and reporting skills
  • Willingness to travel
