The Production Manager drives production processes and financial success of assigned projects from inception to completion using a diversified background in project management. The Production Manager supports and maintains creative integrity while delivering outstanding production efficiency and operational reliability. The Production Manager monitors project status, deliverables, schedules, budgets, scope, and meetings.
You will report to a Producer.
Responsibilities/You Will
- Planning and advising production teams on best practices and quality excellence, coordination with clients and partners to execute all Disney Live Entertainment components, and the ability to quickly offer solutions to address issues and identify process adaptations to meet project needs.
- Accountable for the development of solid relationships with multiple partners at multiple levels to achieve the goals of assigned projects in partnership with Producers, Show Directors, Technical Directors, Technical Designers, Costumers, Entertainment Operations, and any other key team members and project partners.
- Manage sourcing, procurement, contracting, and payment processes in partnership with contract administrators and procurement partners, tracking expenses and reporting on budget status, managing job numbers and budget authorizations, and ensuring that company financial policies and procedures are followed for all spending.
- Manage project schedule and drive accountability to, and reporting of, key project completion milestones.
- Scope includes overall project fiscal responsibility and facilitating efficiency efforts.
- The Production Manager will ensure operational strategies and requirements are implemented into the production process and serve as the communication point for external and internal clients and stakeholders, as well as the interface for all other lines of business influenced by the project.
- As a Disney leader, the Production Manager champions and supports safety, environmental, inclusion, and other corporate initiatives, ultimately enhancing the Guest/Cast Experience and driving business results
- Ensure WDI-DLE strategies and requirements are implemented into the production process, and serve as the communication point for our clients and partners, and interface for all other lines of business influenced by the project.
- 3+ years of professional leadership in live show/theatrical production, live event production, technical, or stage management
- Demonstrated experience in project management, zero-based budget creation, labor and operating expense estimating and forecasting, and financial management/reporting with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven experience in leading procurement efforts for entertainment related goods/services and managing bid package processes
- Lead conflict resolution with experience in team building and collaboration
- Demonstrated delegation and negotiation skills
- Working with all levels of leadership
- Experience initiating, organizing, and completing multiple tasks on time
- Analytical and administrative skills with the ability to identify areas for process improvement
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Trusted and respected leader that guides with integrity
- Receive and deliver honest, actionable, and credible feedback to team members
- Available and willing to work weekends, holidays, and travel internationally

Job Description
- This is a highly technical position (L3/L4 Support)
- Provide deep domain and/or infrastructure experience coupled with advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities to provide root cause analysis of software issues and recommend the appropriate solutions
- Provide technical and application support, and perform application administration and performance tuning
- Work closely with engineering, QA and product management teams; identify and test workarounds for deficiencies in the software
- Manage testing environments to support user acceptance testing
- Liaise and follow up with solution vendor to resolve system incidents
- Assist in managing the change control process on application systems
- Assist in the system implementation, and acquisition of computer hardware, software and related services
- Experience with Financial Services Investment Management, Trading or related systems highly preferable
- Experience working with a mix of vendor and in-house trading systems and settlement platforms

- Chair reviews of all show design documents
- Supervise design and production progress to schedule and budget and advise on impact of all proposed changes

- Field art direct installation of show elements
Rockwork : Proven experience in the field on Disney rockwork projects. Specific skills include in-depth knowledge and mastery of methods and materials particular to rockwork, including development of rockwork models and coordination of corresponding show elements, application and articulation of plaster, cage construction and installation. A background in fine arts with an emphasis in sculpture is preferred but not required.
Facades : Proven experience in the field on Disney themed façade projects. Specific skills include in-depth knowledge and mastery of methods and materials particular to themed plaster, including appropriate use of tools, application and articulation of products and materials and knowledge of substrate requirements. Knowledge of CAD and Power Point skills are preferred for use as design and documentation tools, as is a background in fine arts with an emphasis in sculpture.
Themed Paint: Proven experience in the field on Disney projects. Specific skills include in-depth knowledge of materials and application techniques for varied painted scenic effects. General aesthetic knowledge in the blending and use of color palettes is mandatory.
LEADERSHIP SKILLS:
- Effectively orchestrate activities and personalities
- Persuasive advocate for good design and a steadying influence for the team
- Natural ability to make sense out of diverse multidisciplinary requirements and to bring the project goals into focus for everyone involved

Job Description
- This is a highly technical position (L3/L4 Support)
- Provide deep domain and/or infrastructure experience coupled with advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities to provide root cause analysis of software issues and recommend the appropriate solutions
- Provide technical and application support, and perform application administration and performance tuning
- Work closely with engineering, QA and product management teams; identify and test workarounds for deficiencies in the software
- Manage testing environments to support user acceptance testing
- Liaise and follow up with solution vendor to resolve system incidents
- Assist in managing the change control process on application systems
- Assist in the system implementation, and acquisition of computer hardware, software and related services
- Experience with Financial Services Investment Management, Trading or related systems highly preferable
- Experience working with a mix of vendor and in-house trading systems and settlement platforms
- Any experience with the following is preferred: servers, operating systems, networks, scripting, XML, programming languages, job scheduling software, system monitoring software and disaster recovery/business continuity
- Good knowledge of Windows Server, Unix, and SQL (both in a physical and Cloud environment)
- Experience of front-to-back trading lifecycles across equities and derivatives products
- Familiarity with FIX protocol and Electronic Execution platforms

CORE FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Confirm scope to schedule and budget parameters
- Supervise dimensional design team with creative direction and D&P and A&E requirements
- Determine and direct mock-up and staging requirements and advise on systems and methods
- Provide design direction to Show Set lead and ensure drawing packages meet show and facility requirements
- Chair reviews of all show design documents
- Supervise design and production progress to schedule and budget and advise on impact of all proposed changes
- Strategize production and installation of show elements
- Supervise production and installation crews
- Field art direct installation of show elements
Rockwork : Proven experience in the field on Disney rockwork projects. Specific skills include in-depth knowledge and mastery of methods and materials particular to rockwork, including development of rockwork models and coordination of corresponding show elements, application and articulation of plaster, cage construction and installation. A background in fine arts with an emphasis in sculpture is preferred but not required.
Facades : Proven experience in the field on Disney themed façade projects. Specific skills include in-depth knowledge and mastery of methods and materials particular to themed plaster, including appropriate use of tools, application and articulation of products and materials and knowledge of substrate requirements. Knowledge of CAD and Power Point skills are preferred for use as design and documentation tools, as is a background in fine arts with an emphasis in sculpture.
Themed Paint: Proven experience in the field on Disney projects. Specific skills include in-depth knowledge of materials and application techniques for varied painted scenic effects. General aesthetic knowledge in the blending and use of color palettes is mandatory.
LEADERSHIP SKILLS:
- Effectively orchestrate activities and personalities
- Persuasive advocate for good design and a steadying influence for the team
- Natural ability to make sense out of diverse multidisciplinary requirements and to bring the project goals into focus for everyone involved
- Working member of the Design team with a natural inclination to generate ideas and the ability to do so with great fluency.
- Ability to research and present design options so that the team can make informed decisions that ultimately give the project greater depth
- Degree in theater arts, fine arts or environmental design preferred but not required
- Theater design, theatrical technical direction and/or film design (art direction, production design) experience preferred, but not required
- 8-10 years in theme park design, production and installation experience
- Extensive knowledge of dimension design
- Extensive knowledge of set design and production
- Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques and materials
- Strong team leadership and supervisory experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of show requirements for special effects, lighting, media design
- Computer literate in Excel and Word
- CAD and computer modeling skills preferred but not required

The appointee will take part in relevant technical and production work for Performing Arts events organised by West Kowloon Cultural District (WKCDA), with areas include but not limited to stage, lighting, sound, projection, electrical production, follow spot operation, carpentry, props, scenic painting, costume making, tailor, wardrobe, makeup, wig, stage management, etc.
You Will Be Responsible For
- delivering technical and production work during move-in, rehearsals, performances and move-out;
- ensuring all assigned works to be carried out in the highest standard of safety, quality and efficiency; and
- working effectively and efficiently as a member of the team.
- preferably possess secondary school qualification or above;
- have at least 1 year of relevant experience in performing arts, technical and production support for indoor and outdoor events; with knowledge and skills in relevant fields; (Candidates who possess at least 3 years of the above relevant experience may be considered for Senior Production Specialist)
- be a team player with good communication skills;
- be self-motivated and able to work independently; and
- preferably have good command of spoken Cantonese and English.

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented Creative Manager to join Prudential Plc’s Corporate Affairs team. This role is essential in the ideation, creation and management of campaign assets for various communications projects and platforms, including supporting the planning, execution, and production of video projects, and managing asset platforms and technology. The role would appeal to someone with a passion for visual storytelling and project management. The Creative Manager will work closely with colleagues across the business to enhance our communications effectiveness and drive consistent brand application and awareness.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Creative Collateral and Campaign Assets:
- Ideate, design, and create artwork for campaign assets used across websites, social media, print and event, including powerpoint, whitepapers etc.
- Ensure all creative materials align with brand guidelines and objectives, are visually appealing and effectively communicate key messages.
- Video Projects:
- Support the planning, execution, and production of video projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure high-quality video content.
- Agency Administration:
- Manage day-to-day administration of creative and video agencies.
- Coordinate with agencies to ensure timely and effective delivery of creative projects.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to optimise productivity and achieve project goals.
- Asset Platform and Technology Management:
- Work with Brand team to optimise a digital asset platform to ensure accessibility and efficiency.
- Implement best practices for organising and maintaining creative and video assets.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance asset management and creative workflows.
- Brand
- Act as a brand champion, promoting brand awareness and adherence to guidelines.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with Corporate Affairs colleagues and partners across the business to support communications effectiveness.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies to drive continuous improvement in creative processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a creative role, with a proven track record in graphic design.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to find innovative solutions to design challenges.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Skills in video, visual effects and animation production is a plus.
