Key Accountabilities

• Ensuring establishment and embedding delivery plans for one or more workstream elements of the overall delivery programme for the eMPF Platform Company Limited;
• Ensuring standard project management techniques and scope are covered, for example progress updates, plan management, dependency management, resource allocation and smoothing, risk management, assumption management, budget control, etc.;
• Working across multiple internal and external workstreams relating to technology, process design, operational management, vendor management and commercial delivery as required by relevant work streams;
• Ensuring timely and effective communication across programme work streams and internal / external stakeholders;
• Driving, monitoring and reporting plan delivery across all stages of the project lifecycle;
• Actively using risk management approaches to maximise project delivery; and
• Managing an indirect delivery team often including third party suppliers.

Skills and Qualification

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Service/Technology, Engineering, Business or other related disciplines;
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certified;
• Minimum 8 years of relevant project management experience, preferably in a financial services and/or public sector environment, and on technology driven projects;
• Experience in digital transformation, MPF / pension operations a plus;
• Experience in managing the delivery of digital projects through the whole lifecycle including digital projects of high complexity, and in particular, testing and implementation project stages;
• Exposure to / experience in managing a vendor to deliver a complex large-scale project or sub-projects;
• Strong in internal and external stakeholder management;
• Driven, positive, highly structured, proactive, and analytical;
• Excellent organization and problem solving skills, and be able to work under pressure; and
• Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English.

Remuneration Package

Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualification and experience. The initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract.  A competitive remuneration and benefits package including discretionary performance-linked variable pay, annual leave, medical, dental and life insurance coverage, and MPF will be offered.

The Position

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Fintech Commercial, to join our team in Bangkok. This is a commercially focused role with high visibility to senior leadership, responsible for managing relationships with global Payment and FinTech partners and contributing to the development and execution of B2C and B2B products, with a strong focus on foreign exchange (FX) and cross-border payments. You will have the chance to work on complex financial products in a fast-moving, international environment and influence decisions that directly impact Agoda's growth.

In this Role, you'll get to:

• Manage partner relationships, negotiate commercials and contracts, and lead projects/programs involving various stakeholders
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to develop and test FX pricing and risk management systems
• Define and implement workflows, policies, and procedures with a focus on automation and scalability
• Contribute to operations including reconciliation, post-trade analysis, and reporting
• Identify requirements for exotic currencies for fintech products and work with partners and internal stakeholders like Treasury to support onboarding of new currency corridors
• Stay informed on market trends, liquidity, and volatility to inform business decisions
• Support relevant stakeholders in operations as needed, including reconciliation and reporting
• Support other Pay-in, Pay-out, or fintech/payment innovation initiatives as needed

What you'll Need to Succeed:

• Minimum 6-7 years of experience in Payments, Fintech, and knowledge/experience in the FX industry
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Degree in finance, economics, or a related field
• Good with numbers and able to build business cases and financial models

The Job
You will:

• Be accountable to the project sponsor for delivering project outcomes within agreed timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints
• Create and manage the project budget, ensuring alignment with project goals
• Develop, manage, and resource IT project plans, reviewing them regularly with the project sponsor
• Monitor and report on project progress, commitments, and adherence to governance requirements
• Diagnose and evaluate potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle, implementing mitigation plans as necessary

About You
You should have:
