Job Description

We are expecting the candidate can handle day-to-day data and AI project management tasks and also assist some short-term presales activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in project management, particularly Agile Scrum methodologies, and a proven track record in delivering data and AI solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with our strategic goals. This position has responsibility for the Data Analytics and AI Solution presales activities and project management.

What you will take lead

  • Drive the full lifecycle of Data & AI solution implementations—from scoping and planning to execution and post-deployment support.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on project progress and deliverables
  • Collaborate with sales teams to craft winning proposals, conduct client workshops, and design tailored technical solutions that address business needs.
  • Guide cross-functional teams, mentor junior staff, and foster a culture of innovation and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with end users, data scientists, analysts, and engineers to define project requirements and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Lead, design, develop, maintain and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards built in Data Platform including but not limited to Qlik, Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau, Microsoft Fabric, Darabricks.
  • Collaborate with technical team to respond project tender and compile project proposal.
  • Review functional and technical specifications prepared by clients or partner vendors
  • Perform and document data analysis, data validation, data mapping/design, by accessing multiple sources
  • Work closely with the infrastructure team on nonproduction and production infrastructure and environments
  • Managing defects and bugs during the SIT and UAT phase
  • Attention to details and high standards of documentation are expected
  • Ensure projects are delivered on-time to the standard required and within the constraints of the delivery process
  • Communicate and manage proactively on issues affecting delivery

Desired Skills and Experience Requirements

  • Degree or above in Computer Sciences, Statistics, IT or related discipline preferred
  • 10 to 15 years of project management experience, preferably in AI, data analytics, or technology sectors.
  • PMP, Agile/Scrum, or equivalent certifications preferred; familiarity with TOGAF, ITIL, or data governance frameworks is a plus.
  • Hands-on project experience on data integration and data visualization tools, including but not limited to Qlik, Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau, Informatica, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric
  • Leadership experience in project delivery and service implementation
  • Proactive, self-motivated to drive high-quality and efficient solutions delivery and embrace team spirit
  • Experience in client-facing roles, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures and compelling proposals
  • Fluent in English / Cantonese. Mandarin is a plus
  • Knowledge in enterprise data storage and transformation platforms such as ETL tools from Azure, Microsoft Fabric, AWS and GCP is a plus
  • Knowledge in open source and closed source SLM and LLM. Agentic AI or RAG project experience would be an advantage
  • Knowledge in RDBMS such as Oracle, SQL, IBM and Database platform tools such as Snowflake, MS SQL, Azure Synapse, Databricks, DW/DL etc. and related experience would be an advantage

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
