IHKSports is seeking a talented individual as our Marketing & Communications Manager. Our manager will be based in Hong Kong, working under the direction of the Deputy Chief Executive.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Strategy - Closely work with the Deputy Chief Executive and the Chief Executive to plan for the upcoming marketing strategies to strengthen our brand image, brand identity and fundraising effort as well as better communicate our social impact to the public;
- Events - Assist the Fundraising team to plan and organise events that serve the purpose of fundraising, such as seasonal campaigns, organization branding events, running competitions etc.;
- Events - Support events organised by the programme team to advise them on branding, event management & execution;
- Marketing & Communications - Conduct analysis, provide insight and support to the Foundation to better understand market trends, youth trends and dynamics. Identify opportunities in markets where there are unmet needs;
- Marketing & Communications - To manage the Communications Team in the marketing team to support the day-to-day marketing and communications work of the charity, including but not limited to managing the production of annual reports, brochures, eDMs, e-newsletters, presentations, social media posts and other corporate communication materials etc. to develop the highest standards of marketing communication collaterals in line with organisation guidelines;
- Marketing & Communications – Support the above Officer to collaborate with programme staff to develop compelling storytelling to convey how donors’ contributions are being used on the ground, including but not limited to photo and video presentation, reaching out to media agencies and encourage the reporting of events and stories;
- Marketing & Communications – Assist the Public Education Team to build awareness for public education and advocacy campaigns.
- Visit IHKSports classes/activities regularly to understand the organisation work at the front-line;
- Perform any other marketing-related duties as assigned.
- A Degree holder in any discipline with 5- 7 years’ experience in communications/ charity marketing/sports marketing/event management. Candidates with less experience might be considered for the Assistant Manager position;
- Proven track record of collaborative approach to problem solving, experience building internal relationships and operating effectively with cross-functional partners, experience advising teams, and senior executives on fundraising & marketing matters;
- Responsive to WhatsApp group messages and emails, strong resilience to work under stress;
- Strong finance acumen;
- Strong sports/charity marketing sense, creative and independent;
- A leader to host and manage events with confidence and a sense of team;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic with a command of written and spoken in English, Mandarin and Cantonese;
- A strong team player capable of working with different personalities from different functional backgrounds;
- Strong ability to complete multiple assignments concurrently whilst balancing competing priorities and meeting deadlines;
- Willing to travel to various districts in Hong Kong in weekday evenings and weekends, with transport subsidy and compensation leave;
- Knowledge of and passion for sports and the charitable sector are preferred.
On top of the statutory holidays, maternity leave and paternity leave, IHKSports offers 15 days of annual leave, birthday leave and health insurance with dental benefits. Other staff benefits include a one-hour early leave every month to do individual sports, a wellness day every month to do team sports together and flexible working hours at the office, compensation leave for overtime working, compassionate leave, and marriage leave (upon completion of 1-year service). The office is closed on the last day of each calendar year and the day before the Chinese New Year.

Corporate Communications
Hang Seng’s Corporate Communications Department formulates and executes compelling communications programmes that promote the Bank’s corporate image, products and services. The Brand Communications function plans and implements strategic initiatives supporting the Bank’s brand values and employer value propositions. Key Responsibilities
Integrated Communications To Promote Brand Values
- Plan and execute creative and integrated communications campaigns that strategically and effectively promote the Bank’s brand values, enhance staff’s sense of belonging, and engage and inspire the Bank’s key external stakeholders.
- Drive the Bank's brand stories through engaging content for various external and internal channels, including media, YouTube, LinkedIn, intranet, staff mobile applications and events etc.
- Lead key message planning and develop creative and compelling stories to promote the Bank’s brand values and stories across various platforms, including traditional and social media for both internal and external audience.
- Responsible for speech writing for senior executives to ensure impactful delivery and alignment with brand messaging.
- Develop and implement a content strategy for the Bank’s social media platforms, including content calendars, engagement strategies, and measurement of key performance indicators.

- Manage all aspects of event planning and execution, including budget management, vendor selection, logistics, and on-site coordination.
- Lead the development and implementation of innovative event concepts and experiences that engage and inspire attendees.
- Be an effective team leader by showcasing excellent communications and people skills; promoting a culture of teamwork, trust and mutual support; delegating effectively and empower team members to take ownership; developing and mentoring team members to achieve their full potential; be open to seek feedback
- Minimum 12 years of experience in corporate communications with a sizeable organisation, with a focus on public relations, marketing, and/or events management.
- Excellent and proven track record in planning and executing events of various sizes and for different stakeholders.
- An innovative communicator. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese, with a proven ability to develop compelling and impactful content.
- Proficient in content creation and storytelling on social media platforms, including YouTube and LinkedIn.
- Good design and art sense.
- Excellent strategic messaging skills, encompassing developing impactful key messages, aligning communication initiatives with business goals, and ensuring consistent messaging across channels.
- Strong media relations especially with features and lifestyle media in Hong Kong and preferably the Greater Bay Area.
- Understanding of the banking industry and its regulatory landscape preferred.

PCCW Group is looking for an energetic team player for its Group Communications team focusing the Group’s ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) and being the driving force behind impactful collaborations that inspire and engage our diverse stakeholders. From developing strategic plans to cultivating meaningful partnerships, you'll play a crucial part in amplifying our brand purpose and ESG commitments through sustainable and innovative community programmes.
Your new role
- Responsible for all aspects of ESG reporting matters, including the preparation of data, drafting and submission of the ESG report
- Maintain and enhance the Group’s ESG policies, procedures and processes constantly
- Explore, implement and review sustainability strategies and initiatives
- Cultivate partnerships with environmental, Non-governmental Organisations (NGOs), and governmental institutes in developing and executing CSR and sustainability programmes
- Collaborate with internal (functional and business units) and external stakeholders (e.g. assessment and rating agencies, award and green label organisers, consultants) on ESG matters and maintain the sustainability database
- Analyse ESG data to identify trends and drive improvement
- Promote the Group’s sustainability initiatives through different channels such as intranet, internet, social media, community services, etc.
- Manage the budget and performance tracking for all community programmes to ensure efficient resource allocation
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously evolve our ESG performance
- Support the supervisor with research on emerging sustainability trends
To succeed in the role
- Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, environmental studies, communications, business, or related field
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in ESG reporting, ESG rating submission, stakeholder engagement, and other ESG-related fields, exposure from sizeable companies / public organisations / telecommunications industry is an absolute advantage
- Proven track record in community investment activities and responsible sourcing is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders
- Solid knowledge of ESG-related standards, frameworks, and regulations. ESG certifications are desirable.
- Highly motivated and passionate about sustainability
- A detail-oriented team player with a strong sense of responsibility, can-do attitude, collaborative and creative mindset
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines and pressure
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The Scientific Communications Manager will engage cross-functionally for the rollout of product launches relating to The Ordinary brand in China and APAC. They will execute a variety of tasks related to scientific communication strategies for new product developments (NPDs) and existing product developments (EPDs), ingredient and skin science literature research, ingredient and product efficacy claims, consumer queries, expert commentary, content creation & reviews, while ensuring accurate scientific foundation and relevance in each market.
This is a permanent full-time position based in the Estee Lauder offices in Hong Kong . It is a hybrid role, working from the office 3 days per week.
WHAT YOU'D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE
- Develop impactful strategy and content-rich communications to highlight the company’s science-led proposition externally in partnership with the broader Scientific team
- Manage all the aspects of scientific communications for NPD/EPD projects in China and APAC by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including R&D, Brand and external partners
- Work closely with Clinical Research, Regulatory, Legal and the Product Marketing teams to develop, substantiate and ensure approval of scientific product and ingredient claims
- Work closely with R&D and other Scientific disciplines to support a better understanding of regional trends, consumer profiling and scientific storytelling opportunities
- Review scientific literature and clinical evidence to develop core content for products to drive professional engagement, Brand copy and asset construction
- Work cross-functionally to drive the collation of scientific evidence in support of Partnership campaigns and launches in new markets and/or new channels
- Serve as the science subject matter expert in editing and reviewing marketing content for scientific accuracy, providing insight and edits to ensure tone/language that resonates with “skintellectuals”
- Conduct interviews with media, influencers and participates in live engagements, including masterclasses
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within the business to ensure that launches function cohesively across touchpoints
- Fluent in Mandarin and English, with excellent written skills
- Undergraduate Degree in Cosmetic Science or a related field (e.g. biochemistry, health/life sciences, pharmaceuticals)
- Strong storyteller and exceptional writer who can engage with our SMEs and market confidently and convincingly
- Effective communicator who can passionately speak to the importance of visual communication in science
- Ability and willingness to travel
