  • We are seeking SOURCING & SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER - with details as follows :

Position Mission

  • We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Supply Chain Manager to lead the sourcing and qualification of new vendor factories across Southeast Asia.
  • This role is instrumental to the Company’s growth and diversification strategy, focusing on identifying reliable partners capable of producing high-quality watch components and complete timepieces in alignment with our technical and brand standards.

The Job

  • Identify and source high-potential watch manufacturers in key Southeast Asian markets such as Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
  • Lead factory qualification processes including on-site audits, capability assessments, and compliance reviews.
  • Evaluate vendor production capacity, quality assurance systems, technical capabilities, and readiness for ODM/OEM collaboration.
  • Negotiate pricing, lead time, and performance terms aligned with production targets and Company standards.
  • Build a vendor database and performance tracking system for continuous monitoring and improvement.
  • Ensure that vendors comply with ethical sourcing, sustainability, and labor standards.
  • Drive strategic supplier development initiatives to increase flexibility, innovation, and speed to market.
  • Tertiary education preferably in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years work experience in watch industry
  • Exposure to vendor development, sourcing, or factory evaluation in watch industry
  • Strong understanding of the manufacturing ecosystem and supplier landscape in Southeast Asia.
  • Fluent in English is a must
  • Knowledge of watch production and quality control processes
  • Confident with vendor audits, technical assessments, and negotiation
  • Resourceful, detail-driven, and culturally adaptable
  • Business trips to Asia Pacific region for site visits and vendor meetings.
  • 5 days work
  • 13 months salary + performance bonus

Regional Sales and Production Coordination

  • Learn and assist Sourcing Manager to follow up action plans to improve supply base and mitigate risk with measurable accountability.
  • Collaborates with Quality Assurance team to ensure products placed with managed suppliers are meeting Disney quality standards.
  • Manages production tracking report, driving communication and troubleshooting exceptions and delays proactively
  • Identifies opportunities to leverage tools, information, processes and resources to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Assist Sourcing Manager to initiate vendor set-up process in the system.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure cost is updated timely in PLM, enabling Sourcing Manager to manage order award process.
  • Supports Sourcing Manager to consolidate discussion with factory and Product Design to seek new ideas, art techniques, applications and materials to drive product innovation.
  • Assists Sourcing Manager to drive continuous improvement within supply base to elevate supplier performance with measurable results.
  • Proactively addresses issues or delivery delays to Sourcing Manager timely.


CORE SKILLS:

Knowledge of product-specific construction standards, materials, and manufacturing processes/techniques.

Good negotiation skills.

Proficient in English and Mandarin or Cantonese.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to influence vendors and drive production and operational efficiency

Understanding of China and Global testing, safety, and labeling requirements and impact to product design

Experience in merchandise sourcing and production management.

Strong computer skills. (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, MicroCharts, etc.)

Ability to work on multiple projects within specified time frames.

Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.

Learn of free-trade agreements, duties and resulting impact of sourcing strategies.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

3 years’ experience in Global Sourcing and/or Merchandising

Bachelor’s Degree

Product-specific technical degree and/or manufacturing experience a plus

Proficiency in English (spoken and written)

Ability to communicate in other languages would be a plus

  • Manages production tracking report, driving communication and troubleshooting exceptions and delays proactively
  • Identifies opportunities to leverage tools, information, processes and resources to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Assist Sourcing Manager to initiate vendor set-up process in the system.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure cost is updated timely in PLM, enabling Sourcing Manager to manage order award process.
  • Supports Sourcing Manager to consolidate discussion with factory and Product Design to seek new ideas, art techniques, applications and materials to drive product innovation.
  • Assists Sourcing Manager to drive continuous improvement within supply base to elevate supplier performance with measurable results.
  • Proactively addresses issues or delivery delays to Sourcing Manager timely.
CORE SKILLS:
Knowledge of product-specific construction standards, materials, and manufacturing processes/techniques.
Good negotiation skills.
Proficient in English and Mandarin or Cantonese.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to influence vendors and drive production and operational efficiency
Understanding of China and Global testing, safety, and labeling requirements and impact to product design
Experience in merchandise sourcing and production management.
Strong computer skills. (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, MicroCharts, etc.)
Ability to work on multiple projects within specified time frames.
Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
Learn of free-trade agreements, duties and resulting impact of sourcing strategies.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
3 years’ experience in Global Sourcing and/or Merchandising
Bachelor’s Degree
Product-specific technical degree and/or manufacturing experience a plus
Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
Ability to communicate in other languages would be a plus Seniority level

  • Support General Manager Global Sourcing in developing and implementing Global Apparel Sourcing Strategy
  • Communicate Tier One Fabric Commitment Needs (Deadlines / Volumes) to Planning / order management prior to each lock based on current forecasts using input from Head of Apparel Sourcing, Asia and General Manager Apparel Sourcing. Adjust fabric commitment needs at each lock based on evolving forecasts and ongoing levels of commitment.
  • Track fabric commitments vs. requested commitment levels.
  • Generate reports to track adherence to committed levels, flag risk areas when commitments levels are lower than requested, and quantify impact of less-than-requested commitments on T1 projected capacity
  • Work with key stakeholders to optimize material flows by constantly evaluating the ability of T1’s to maximize their acceptance of orders vs. target / committed levels and to minimize Liability.
  • Leverage data to continuously improve / optimize performance and process as it relates to fabric commitment levels.
  • Work closely with Allocation and Planning teams to improve product introduction and product placement flows to optimize capacity utilization vs. customer service levels.
  • Work to utilize existing capacity efficiently, ensuring sufficient peak season capacity while driving efficient use of supplier capacity throughout the year.
  • Lead and/or participate in cross-functional projects to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering gained from Manufacturing / Textiles
  • 20 years of experience in Garment Development, International Sourcing / Planning with proven experience in all global categories of branded athletic sourcing including in-line, team sports/custom uniforms & active wear category production
  • 10 years of experience in developing and leading a team with oversight over multiple countries
  • Experience with assignments working in-market in North America, Europe and the Middle East
  • Knowledgeable in export and import regulatory requirements including custom tariff classification and respective duty rates
  • Experience in Product Creation and Process Management – Ability to build and maintain production introduction calendars working across functional silos in a large-company environment
  • Strong project management, negotiation and communication skills
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to develop relationships with key business partners and cross functional teams
  • Regional and International travel required

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Global Supply Chain Director to lead our overseas on-demand supply chain operations, specifically catering to the fast fashion industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in optimizing supply chain setups and a deep understanding of global markets, with a particular focus on the European market. This role is crucial for ensuring that we meet the demands of both internal and external clients efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize the supply chain, focusing on developing new vendors and nearshore production, and enhancing overall efficiency to cope with the company's fast growth in the global market.
  • Overseas Operations Management: Build and manage an on-demand supply chain network in key international markets, particularly in Europe, to ensure timely and cost-effective fulfillment of orders.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners to ensure reliability and quality in the supply chain.
  • Capacity Management: Oversee the planning and management of production to ensure they align with demand forecasts and business objectives. Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to optimize capacity utilization.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify areas for improvement in the supply chain process, implementing changes to enhance performance and reduce waste.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate with senior leadership, internal stakeholders, and external clients to provide updates on supply chain performance and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in supply chain management, experience in the European fast fashion industry is preferred.
  • Global Market Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of global supply chain dynamics, with a deep understanding of the European market.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with a track record of developing and mentoring junior staff.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in supply chain management software and tools, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment, with a strong understanding of international business practices.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English. Proficiency in another European language (e.g., Spanish, French, German) is highly desirable.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications such as CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management), CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional), or Six Sigma are a plus.
