ABOUT THE ROLE

As LOJEL’s visual merchandising executive, you will be responsible for creating innovative store environments that embody the brand's identity and elevate the customer experience. Working across design, construction, and visual merchandising, you will bring LOJEL's unique aesthetic to life in physical retail spaces. Your designs, technical expertise, and project management skills will be critical to delivering new store openings and renovations that showcase the brand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement the global visual merchandising strategy to support regional business objectives.
  • Work closely with commercial team and brand creative team to create the VM guideline for global markets.
  • Create in-store displays that effectively showcase product features and enhance customer engagement.
  • Source and evaluate materials and fixtures that meet LOJEL's quality and environmental standards.
  • Manage the construction project timeline, coordinating with vendors and contractors to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of new store openings and renovations.
  • Develop the initial visual merchandising plan for new store openings, including product displays, lighting, and signage.
  • Conduct regular store visits to assess presentation and compliance with visual standards, providing timely feedback and revisions.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and CoTeam to ensure effective delivery of product launches and campaign messages through visual merchandising.
  • Train store staff on visual merchandising best practices to improve the retail experience.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-3 years of experience in visual merchandising or a related field.
  • Retail brand experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in visual merchandising, retail design, or equivalent.
  • Proficient in SketchUp, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign or related software.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management abilities.
  • Strong project management skills, ensuring all tasks are completed within the projected timeline.
  • Fluent in English. Cantonese/Mandarin is a plus.

This role is responsible for store visual merchandising.

What you’ll be doing?

  • Formulate and implement effective visual merchandising strategies and guidelines that align with various campaigns and organizational objectives for all retail stores in Hong Kong and Macau
  • Manage VM display for retail promotion, ad hoc promotion, new product launch, new store openings, store renovation and Expo
  • Responsible for the graphic design of POP and show window, not limited to tent card, bunting, back card, lightbox, promotional tag, display props, shop TV, price tag, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-function teams and external designers / production house for production and implementation of retail shop VM
  • Oversee of all design production processes from concept to output delivery
  • Source and supervise the shop display materials and fixture at cost-effective basis
  • Support photo shooting of different kinds of TCM products
  • Handle ad hoc projects as assigned

Who are we looking for?

  • Higher Diploma holder in Design or related disciplines
  • Good knowledge in design, with at least 5-6 years of relevant experience in VM, ideally from MNC or FMCG industry, experience in advertising agencies will also be considered
  • Proficiency in design software (AI & Photoshop) and MS Office is a must
  • Experience in budget management
  • Self-motivated and can work independently, multi-tasking with strong sense of responsibility, good interpersonal skills and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to details, innovative with artistic and market sense
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Visual Merchandiser

Reporting to the Senior Visual Merchandising Manager, the incumbent is responsible for

teaching, coaching and training the VM leads of the license and the regional key

account partners to elevate the visual acuity and floorset execution for delivering

revenue and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and nurture partnerships with key stakeholders across the licensee and

key account network, to understand commercial opportunities and promote

brand and sales-driving VM presentations that enhance the biggest business

opportunities.

  • Partner with VM leads of license and key account partners on the creation and

implementation of all seasonal floorsets.

  • Identify commercial opportunities; work with the local teams to make

adjustments to how showcase products visually based on the way the local

customer shops and interacts with key product categories.

  • Manage pre-season floorset planning and execution, and calendarize with stores

including establishing appropriate plans for all floorsets.

  • Works with the VM leads of license and key account partners and regional buying

teams on the creation of seasonal laydowns.

  • Oversee floorset mapping process with merchandise leads of license and key

account partners in the region.

  • Establish a thorough knowledge of product assortment and key items. Partner

with business leads of the license and key account partners to identify key

business opportunities ensuring accurate location plans by store to increase

revenue and profitability.

  • Support and partner on developing key store segmentation strategy to be utilized

with store levels.

  • Partner with the VM and creative team of license and key account partners on

rollout and implementation of new evergreen marketing materials.

  • Partner with license and key account partner's HQ team for all new store

openings in the region, including seasonal fixture plan mapping.

  • Shop the competition and communicate current trends and competitor

strategies that are relevant to the portfolio of brands to the license and key

account partners.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal partners including Creative Services,

Store Design, Buying and Operations to ensure that all corresponding business

needs are addressed.

  • Drive innovation and conceptualization of compelling VM techniques to

promote, enhance, and elevate seasonal product stories.

  • Adapt seasonal styling for local aesthetics; work closely with Buying to ensure

that styling needs are taken into consideration as the range is curated.

  • Adapt tools and training to fit the needs of license and key account partners;

identify and implement best practices.

  • Own and provide training to license and key account partners on visual

standards, styling, and commercial mindset.

Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Visual or related disciplines
  • At least 7 years' relevant experience in retail industry
  • Strong fashion sense and passion for fashion
  • High degree of proficiency in Google and internet applications, and proficiency in

Adobe Creative Suite is preferred

  • Strong prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, project

management (from conception to completion) and planning skills

  • Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to keep daily communication with various stakeholders in diVerent time

zones

  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
  • Be willing to travel

My client is an European Luxury Fashion Brand and they are looking for a high caliber to join them.

Job Responsibilities

  • Implementing all visual merchandising guidelines and functions
  • Manage VM guidelines and other visual tools for stores / retailers
  • Manage and monitor store display, store openings, event setup, pop-up stores etc.
  • Liaise between HQ and local markets on VM matters
  • Maintain the record of inventory and VM materials/collaterals order
  • Manage visual merchandising budget and prepare monthly report
  • Deliver VM training to retail store team
  • Regular store visit for markets
  • Coordinate with vendors on props, seasonal installation, etc.
  • Any ad-hoc job duties

Job Requirement

  • Diploma or Degree in Design / Visual Merchandising / Related studies.
  • At least 5 years in visual merchandising field with fashion/ luxury retail experience.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently.
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills

What are we expecting from you?

Reporting to the Regional Visual Merchandising Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Assist in planning and implementing marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness.
  • Act as a key driver and gatekeeper for boutique displays, ensuring display tool standards and product zoning through routine Yoobic checks, analyzing data to improve collaboration between regional and market teams.
  • Collaborate with marketing and retail operations to optimize monthly editing displays. Analyze the impact of zoning on sales, strategize VM approaches with each team, develop methods to increase VM's contribution to sales, and establish KPI measurement.
  • Monitor Institutional VM display tool stock and budget. Adjust VM display tool stock and budget in coordination with market VM and relevant departments.
  • Conduct monthly reviews and adjustments on market proposals and VM guidelines with key departments such as marketing and merchandising. Foster regional synergy and provide ongoing feedback to HQ regarding improvements and market-specific requests.

Community Engagement & Communication Excellence

  • Manage the APA VM community, fostering strong relationships with markets and cross-functional departments. Lead the planning and implementation of training programs to enhance VM skills and capabilities.
  • Share monthly VM practices and compile competitive analyses with actionable proposals on current market trends. Produce a quarterly report for the Marcom Newsletter to ensure effective communication.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each market's culture, marketing, and retail strategies by organizing monthly meetings to facilitate communication and alignment, ensuring effective collaboration with local and global teams across departments.
