**In this role, you're expected to:**
+ Resolve complex process problems which require an in-depth evaluation of basic securities processing procedures and industry standards
+ Process settlement activities for global markets
+ Offer advanced solutions for assigned securities processing areas
+ Provide guidance and assistance to junior staff
+ Acting as the analytical and procedural expert
+ Serve as analytical or procedural expert for securities processing deliverables/initiatives
+ Prepare regular management reporting
+ Assist with the development of new techniques and streamlining securities processing activities
+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
**As a successful candidate, you'd ideally have the following skills and exposure:**
+ 3-5 years of relevant experience
+ Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
+ Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Supervisory Executive Officer in the Institute of Future Learning (Ref. B/927/09)

As a newly established unit at City University of Hong Kong, the Institute of Future Learning is dedicated to reimagining the learning centric education for the future, exploring how the University can deeply harness digital technology to transform the learning experience.

Duties

The appointee will support the Director in initiatives related to educational innovation. Duties will include:

  • Work closely with and provide support to units dedicated to educational development;
  • Coordinate and administer internally and externally funded projects;
  • Facilitate collaborations by liaising with faculty, industry partners, and government officials;
  • Organise events and training for various stakeholders;
  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to committees;
  • Assist the Director with daily operations, including human resources and financial management; and
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years’ administrative experience, preferably in the higher education sector. Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); high level of self-motivation, effective communication and interpersonal skills, good IT and presentation skills, and the ability to work independently within tight deadlines are required.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
