  • Deep understanding of B2B payments, card issuing, payment networks, cross-border payments, FX management, and regulations (AML, KYC).
  • Familiarity with crypto operations is a plus.
  • Proven track record in process optimization, automation, SLA management, and efficiency gains.
  • Experience developing operational policies.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data, identify risks, and resolve operational issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and run project workstreams with limited oversight, supporting banks in transformation projects, including project management, process review and design including implementation
  • Support development of client presentations, including material development and vetting, under the direction of senior team members
  • Generate hypotheses and drive the storyboarding process
  • Produce client ready deliverables that require limited review
  • Review of data and analytics, including basic financial modelling, to support implementation projects
  • Develop solutions to complex problems and challenge the thinking of more senior colleagues and clients
  • Liaise effectively with clients whilst working on engagements and act as an ‘ambassador’ for KPMG
  • Develop rapport and working relationships with junior clients and maintain them outside of engagements

Experience & Background

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in any of the below:
  • Big 4 experience with a focus on banking
  • Internal Project / Consulting team within a wholesale bank
  • Product Management role within the commercial lending, transaction banking (Cash, Trade Finance, FX, Supply Chain Finance), capital markets and/or investment banking division of a bank
  • Credit risk experience, focused on commercial / corporate exposures, included syndicated loans
  • Corporate strategy / Corporate development / M&A team of a wholesale bank
  • Tier 1 & 2 strategy houses with deep experience in wholesale banking projects
  • Degree from a leading institution
  • Strong slide structuring and writing capabilities
  • Evidence of project management/workstream leadership
  • Knowledge of wholesale banking operations and/or regulatory compliance
  • Research skills, including market research and regulatory review
  • Project management experience in digital transformation / operational / regulatory / TOM-like projects
  • Project management certification and knowledge of Agile delivery will be an advantage
  • Analytical mindset, intellectual curiosity, structured thinking, and creativity
  • Confidence, people skills, ambition and pragmatism

Responsibilities
  • Perform day-to-day accounting operations including receipts, payments and transfers.
  • Support daily receipt reconciliation, payment checking and processing.
  • Prepare daily cash flow reports and bank transfers.
  • Prepare period-end journals and participate in period-end closing activities.
  • Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations and follow up reconciling items.
  • Prepare and support user-acceptance testing (UAT) for implementation projects.
  • Support the finance team in ad-hoc projects and tasks.
What We Are Looking For
  • University students or experienced in Accounting/Finance or relevant disciplines with professional qualification.
  • 3+ years in accounting operations in life insurance industry.
  • Strong business acumen with analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Good teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and run large workstreams or small projects with limited oversight
  • Generate hypotheses and drive the storyboarding process
  • Produce client ready deliverables that require limited review
  • Construct detailed financial / business models performing complex scenario and sensitivity analysis
  • Develop solutions to complex problems and challenge the thinking of more senior colleagues and clients
  • Liaise effectively with clients whilst working on engagements and act as an ‘ambassador’ for KPMG
  • Develop rapport and working relationships with junior clients and maintain them outside of engagements
  • Be a strong and effective team player


Experience & Background

  • 2-6 years of relevant experience in Strategy / M&A / Product / Pricing / Actuarial team of an insurance related company (Insurers, Reinsurances and Intermediaries)
  • Tier 1 & 2 strategy houses with extensive experience in insurance projects
  • Strategy consulting or Transaction advisory or Management consulting in a Big 4 / similar firm with extensive experience in insurance projects
  • Degree from a leading tertiary institution
  • Sound knowledge of the insurance industry with demonstrated understanding of market landscape, key players, products, distribution channels, etc.
  • Ability to review and assess large volumes of technical data and distil key strategic insights
  • Ability to build complex financial models that support our recommendations to clients
  • Strong slide structuring and writing capabilities
  • Strong numerical capabilities and problem-solving skills
  • Analytical mindset, intellectual curiosity, structured thinking, and creativity
  • Confidence, people skills, ambition and pragmatism
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; Chinese written and oral communication proficiency are a definite advantage

KPMG is building out its leading Wealth & Asset Management Advisory Practice and is looking for a passionate and seasoned Manager with experience in this space. We work with top tier private banks and retail banks’ wealth and asset management divisions on industry defining topics from ‘Strategy-to-Results’, including strategy, operations, regulatory, and technology. It is an exciting time to join us as our practice is expanding due to our unique propositions and strength of client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and run workstreams or small projects with limited oversight
  • Support wealth & asset managers in market analysis, strategic reviews, transformation projects, including project management, business model review and design including implementation

  • Data and analytics review, including basic financial modelling
  • Develop solutions to complex problems and challenge the thinking of more senior colleagues and clients

Experience & Background

  • 4-8 years of relevant experience in any of the below:
  • Consulting experience with leading strategy houses
  • Big 4 experience with a focus on asset management
  • Product Management role within an asset management firm
  • Regulator experience, focused on asset management
  • Degree from a leading institution
  • Strong slide structuring and writing capabilities
  • Evidence of project management/workstream leadership
  • Knowledge of wealth management operations
  • Research skills, including market research and regulatory review
  • Project experience in regulatory / operational / TOM-like projects
  • Project management certification and knowledge of Agile delivery will be an advantage
  • Analytical mindset, intellectual curiosity, structured thinking, and creativity
  • Confidence, people skills, ambition and pragmatism
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese
