We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Corporate Services & Accounting Clerk to support our Hong Kong office . This role covers company secretarial admin tasks, basic accounting, payroll support, and IRD filings. It is ideal for someone with at least 3 years of relevant experience in a professional firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Company Secretarial & Admin
- Scan and submit statutory forms and documentation to the Companies Registry, Inland Revenue Department, and other relevant authorities
- Update and maintain the Registered Office (RO) client list on a monthly basis
- Arrange Business Registration (BR) payments on behalf of clients
- Manage the transition and organization of Greenbox documents
- Handle all incoming and outgoing mail for the department
- Perform document filing and maintain orderly physical/digital records.
- Arrange and record payments for operational expenses.
- Support the accounting team with document scanning and data entry
- Assist in organizing and preparing accounting records for bookkeeping
- Ensure timely and accurate input of financial data
- Assist payroll team with monthly MPF cheque submissions
- Support the preparation and submission of IRD forms (e.g. IR56B, IR56E, IR56F, IR56G)
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in corporate services, accounting, or payroll experience in corporate service firm is an advantage
- Familiar with Hong Kong company secretarial processes and accounting basics
- Good knowledge of Excel and experience with Xero or similar systems
- Able to read and write English and Chinese (Cantonese)
- Self-motivative, Responsible, organised, and able to work independently

Job Description
- General ledger to source reconciliation, and work along with other team members on financial accounting and controls duties;
- Month-end closing, preparation of journal entries and supporting schedules for posting to ledger;
- Ensure proper reconciliation of inter-companies accounts with affiliates and to investigate any discrepancies noted;
- Analyze material variance on the financial results in the course of month-end closing process, and provide input to team members for explaining the variance;
- Prepare schedules and reporting package to fulfil group reporting requirements;
- Preparation of financial disclosure and annual reports and other financial disclosure
- Support internal and external audits and review of financial statements
- Participate in Finance projects to take initiative on driving changes in workflow and processes
- Prepare HKMA regulatory returns and provide inputs for other returns if necessary
- Participate into banking return automation and various system enhancement projects
- Perform assessment on the regulatory reporting treatment for current / new products and business
- Bachelor degree holder, preferred with major in Accounting, Finance and Business Administrations;
- Qualified accountant preferred;
- With three to five years work experience in financial institutions or banks audit at CPA firms
- Growth mindset to aim at development personally and contribute to the team
- Ability to work under pressures and multi-tasking
- Attentive to details and accuracy and drive for process efficiency

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with IFRS (for standalone company)
- Oversee and review general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and proper classification
- Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations (e.g. intercompany balances, accruals, prepayments, other receivables and other payables)
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis, providing insights to management
- Undertake special projects and ad hoc analyses as required by senior management or business needs
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is highly preferred
- Professional accounting qualification is highly preferred
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years experience in finance or accounting roles, with experience in audit field is a plus
- Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting principles
- Experience with Netsuite accounting systems is highly desirable
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling)

Core Business Services – Finance – Senior Accounting Officer
Responsibilities:
- Experience in full set of books and analysis.
- Prepare monthly journals.
- Review and validate journal entries prepared by other teams for accuracy and compliance with accounting standard.
- Ensure timely posting of journals and assist in maintain the integrity of financial record.
- Participate in finance operations and month end / year end close processes.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations review to ensure accounts are accurately reflected.
- Identify discrepancies in balance sheet reconciliations and work with relevant teams to resolve issues.
- Investigate anomalies and monthly variance against budget and provide analysis of differences
- Assist in preparation and analysis of monthly financial and management accounting, annual budgeting and quarterly forecast
- Provide regular support and insightful performance analysis to facilitate better understanding of business performance
- Pro-active communication with internal customers
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions as needed
- Participate in ad hoc projects and assignments
To qualify, you must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with an internationally recognized professional qualification.
- Minimum 5 years solid and relevant experience from a sizeable company
- Organized, detail-oriented and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Highly motivated team player with positive attitude
- Analytical and proactive in problem solving.
- Proficiency in MS WORD, EXCEL, Chinese word processing
- Good command in both written and spoken English & Chinese (Mandarin)
- Supervising a team experience is an advantage
- Hands-on experience in Oracle information system is a definite advantage.
