About the role

We are seeking a driven and innovative AI & Machine Learning Officer to join the team at Big Boss Taxi Company Limited. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for leveraging cutting-edge AI and machine learning technologies to help drive the company's strategic objectives in Kwai Chung. As a key member of our technology department, you will play a vital part in shaping the future of our business.

What you'll be doing

• Analyse and filter risky driving alerts from the Driver Performance Monitoring System, which tracks various aspects of driving behaviour, such as smoking, poor concentration, front collision warning, or rapid acceleration
• Evaluate the alerts to distinguish between those that accurately reflect risky driving behaviour (effective alarms) and those that are triggered unnecessarily (false alarms), which helps reduce alert fatigue among drivers and management
• Manual data cleaning entails reviewing and refining the data collected by the Driver Performance Monitoring System to ensure its quality and accuracy. This may include removing duplicate entries, correcting inaccuracies, and addressing missing or inconsistent data
• Develop and implement advanced AI and machine learning models to optimise operational efficiency, improve customer experience, and enhance decision-making processes
• Analyse income patterns and support the development of dynamic taxi usage models to enhance flexibility and profitability in rental options
• Regularly assess the performance of AI models and systems, aiming to achieve targeted KPIs such as a 5% growth in taxi occupancy rate, 98% system uptime, and an 80% customer satisfaction score

What we're looking for

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field
• 0-2 years of experience in AI and machine learning model development, deployment, and maintenance
