Project Nature:

• In-house application development work including user requirement study, system analysis, programming, testing, end-user support/training; and Provision of system maintenance and support to IT systems.

Duties:

• Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve a statutory body;
• Perform in-house application development work assigned;
• Carry out activities of system development lifecycle to collect user requirements, analyse system functions, develop and maintain systems, conduct testing and data conversion, provide end-user support/training and perform system documentation;

Requirements:

Project Nature:

Provide professional support in establishing a Service Management System (SMS) in alignment with ISO/IEC 2000 standards, with the objective of achieving certification.

Duties:

• Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the HKO;
• Possess professional IT knowledge and experience in system analysis, installation and integration.
• Support the Internal Project Manager (IPM) in managing and resolving technical and operational challenges throughout the project lifecycles:
• .Validate the deliverables from the contractor; and
• Assess and tailor Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) tool workflows to ensure compatibility with Airport Meteorological Office (AMO)'s operational processes.
• Collaborate with the outsourced contractor on the following activities:
• Implement and configure various modules of the ITSM tool;
• Customize and integrate ITSM tool to align with AMO's operational needs;
• Migrate existing data into the ITSM tool, if applicable;
• Support relevant divisions in drafting required documentations and updating the IT Service Map; and
• Conduct User Acceptance Test (UAT) and perform necessary fine-tuning based on the feedback.
• Document the software developed and arrange relevant trainings to HKO staff. Transfer finished software and products, together with knowledge and experience, to associated staff.

Requirements:

• Suitable candidate should have strong understanding of IT service management principles and ISO/IEC 2000 framework.
• Proficiency in various programming languages and environments is required, including shell script programming, web programming, message queue systems and docker containerization and ticketing platforms.
• The candidate should have experience in system design and implementation for web application development projects, along with the ability to effectively liaise with IT vendors and service providers.
• A key part of the role involves contributing to the creation and maintenance of detailed documentation, such as SMS processes and IT service maps to support cross-functional divisions.
• Completion of training in ITIL, ISO 2000, or other relevant training will be an advantage.
• Knowledge in meteorology and / or aviation will be an advantage.
