Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders as well as local and regional Data Chapter analytics professionals to identify and execute data analytics requirement
- Deliver data-driven initiatives in alignment with MtJ (Managing through journey) goals and objectives
- Execute contextual marketing campaigns, provide insights, and improve program effectiveness
- Ensure campaign presentment and functionality meet diverse needs of various business units within the banking organization
- Work with data owners on processes to enable and ensure data quality, evangelizing the importance of good data hygiene
- Monitor business performance on timely manner and prepare relevant MIS to Consumer Banking leadership team with insights and analytical findings to drive DDOM
- Partner with key stakeholders in Hong Kong and Singapore to optimize data discovery, ETL, storage, enrichment, and usage
- Streamline and automate internal processes to ensure efficient and effective data generation and analytics
- Undertake ad-hoc tasks as assigned, participate in system enhancement UAT, and contribute to assigned projects
- University graduate majoring in mathematics, statistics, business analytics, information system, computer science, or other related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of data analytics experience with strong programming skill in SQL and Python
- Possess adequate CRM experience to analyze business requirements, recommend viable solutions, align requirements with operational context and translate them into executable program coding
- Strong understanding of the Consumer Banking industry and operations is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of mobile app architecture, user interface design principles and software development technologies
- Knowledge in building dashboards by using Qlik Sense or any equivalent tools would be an advantage
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret business and financial data and have sound presentation skills
- Adept at problem-solving, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and have experience in project management
- Detail-oriented and well-organized
- Less experienced candidate will also be considered

- Manage Credit RWA analytics, system calculation, regulatory reporting including Pillar 3 disclosure, under Basel III final reform.
- Responsible for data analytics, risk management reporting and ad-hoc enquiries from regulators.
- Participate in system development projects and co-ordinate change request through the cycles, including providing user requirements, user acceptance test, and specifications updates.
- Liaise with vendors or consultants when taking part in ad-hoc risk projects or regulatory projects.
- Enhance and carry out internal control procedures on data governance and profiling, to meet with BCBS239 requirements.
Requirements
- University graduate in Statistics, Risk Management, Finance, Quantitative Analysis or related discipline

- Good communication, analytical and problem solving skills

- Minimum 5 years of working experience in data analytics, with a minimum 3 years of experience in insurance industry
- Hands-on experience in machine learning & advanced analytics
- Hands-on experience in developing and executing large scale analytics deliverables / projects in Financial Services Industry
- Proven experience in driving analytics strategy and business results
- Ability to build strong stakeholders' relationships through thorough understanding of business requirements and the ability to analyze issues to find effective solutions
- Knowledge in data infrastructure and experience in vendor management
- Solid experience in Python & SQL is a must
- Experience in PowerBI is a plus
