Requirements

• Banking experience and knowledge in commercial or digital banking is preferred
• Hands-on experience with Python(Strong grip on NumPy), R, SQL/ Big Query and Strong Excel with VBA is preferred
• Prior hands-on experience of selecting features, building and tuning classifier models leveraging ML would be a plus
• Knowledge on Tableau and experience in working on GCP/ Azure platform is an added advantage

What You'll Need

Functional and other Relevant Experience

• Over 8 years IT experience, with solid experience in solution design, project delivery and system integrations
• Proven experience of leading data analytics team to complete multidisciplinary projects
• Strong end user interview and negotiation skill to get detailed business requirements and use cases from major stakeholders
• Project coordination / management experience in delivering solutions using the Azure Data Analytics platform including Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, Logic Apps
• Proven experience of Machine Learning models, Statistical models, models training and inference
• Solid experience in performing root cause analysis on internal and external data, and processes
• Working experience in aviation industry is an advantage

Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge

• Bachelor's degree holder in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related disciplines
• With Microsoft Azure Data Analytics, PowerBI, etc. certification is an advantage
• Fluent in English, Mandarin is an advantage

Key Responsibilities:

• Platform Architecture:
  Oversee data architecture decisions for cloud data platforms and BI tool integration. Ensure that data pipelines, models, and reporting layers meet performance and scalability requirements.
• Project Delivery:
  Manage the full project lifecycle, including defining scope, milestones, and deliverables for enterprise data initiatives.
• Stakeholder Management:
  Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment on priorities.
• Team Leadership:
  Lead a cross-functional team of data professionals, including engineers, analysts, and BI developers.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing data warehouse, BI, or data platform projects.
• Solid skills in SQL, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and modern reporting tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
