Position Overview:
The Accounting Manager will oversee the financial operations of the luxury retail business, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in the luxury retail or fashion industry and a passion for maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance company policies. Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely processing of vendor payments, customer invoicing, and collections.
  • Supervise a team of accounting professionals and SSC, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance internal controls, and implement best practices.
  • Maintain strong relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA qualified preferred

  • Proven experience in the luxury retail, fashion, or consumer goods industry is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Responsible for preparing the statutory financial accounting and reporting for the Group, including the half-year and full year consolidated financial statements under IFRS on a timely basis
  • Assist to liaise with the auditors, legal counsels, tax, business and regional finance teams
  • Provide accounting support to the group and regional finance team and assist in Preparation of technical accounting papers
  • Prepare the group accounting policies, including the implementation of process and system changes
  • Participate in establishing, implementing and improving controls and business processes
  • Prepare tax accounting computation (i.e. deferred tax, provisional tax)
  • Assist in ad-hoc special projects, including but not limited to valuation, internal control processes, M&A, adoption of new accounting standards, system implementation, etc
  • Continued focus in improving business and finance processes


What We Look For In You

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience in preparing/managing/auditing complex group consolidation (i.e. subsidiary, associate, Joint venture, non-controlling interest) in Big 4 external audit or commercial are desired
  • Experience in managing US IPO project or announcements to US stock exchanges
  • Degree in Accountancy or recognizable accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA and etc.)
  • Strong business acumen who can effectively navigate complex business environments and drive strategic decision-making and attentive to detail, and excellence in stakeholder management
  • Competent in IFRS/US GAAP
  • Willing to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • System-savvy, proficient in Microsoft Excel and power point
  • Experience in Oracle/Hyperion and data analytic tool is an advantage
  • Preferably to have crypto knowledge
  • Good communication in English and Chinese

Job Purpose:

The Product Manager has overall responsibility for achieving the sales and profit targets for the related product groups and creating the highest return for both TD SYNNEX and the vendor. While responsible for revenue outcomes, this is a sales enablement position. These activities, especially sales and marketing are targeted at both the TD SYNNEX extended sales team and the partner community.

Job Purpose:

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creation and execution of business plans for the vendor product group and associated services that achieve agreed vendor revenue targets, including business forecasting and business planning for product groups with vendors.
  • Implementation of sales enablement programs for TD SYNNEX and partners and carry out marketing programs to support product group objectives.
  • Developing an understanding of markets, customers’ needs and competition.
  • Assist in designing effective planning, including inventory turns, inventory fulfilment and inventory obsolescence minimization.
  • Provision of various reports for the purposes of commercial decision making.
  • Maintenance and development of operational level vendor relationships, ensuring highest and continuously improving levels of vendor and partner satisfaction
  • Support to ensure the sales team is performing at optimum levels for the relevant product group. This will require a close working relationship with the Channels Sales Team.
  • In order to execute product leadership it will be necessary to maintain knowledge of sales processes, proposals, pipeline management, partner engagement so that remedial actions can be recommended where necessary.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • >3 to 5 Years of relevant work experience is required.
  • Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology/Marketing/Business Studies/Engineering or other relevant course of study or Equivalent
  • Possesses strong data entry skills.
  • Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.
  • Able to demonstrate complex problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making.

Job Purpose:
The Product Manager has overall responsibility for achieving the sales and profit targets for the related product groups and creating the highest return for both TD SYNNEX and the vendor. While responsible for revenue outcomes, this is a sales enablement position. This will be achieved through marketing programs, sales training, sales support, technical pre-sales support, vendor contract and vendor relationship. These activities, especially sales and marketing are targeted at both the TD SYNNEX extended sales team and the partner community.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creation and execution of business plans for the vendor product group and associated services that achieve agreed vendor revenue targets, including business forecasting and business planning for product groups with vendors.
  • Implementation of sales enablement programs for TD SYNNEX and partners and carry out marketing programs to support product group objectives.
  • Developing an understanding of markets, customers’ needs and competition.
  • Assist in designing effective planning, including inventory turns, inventory fulfilment and inventory obsolescence minimization.
  • Provision of various reports for the purposes of commercial decision making.
  • Maintenance and development of operational level vendor relationships, ensuring highest and continuously improving levels of vendor and partner satisfaction
  • Support to ensure the sales team is performing at optimum levels for the relevant product group. This will require a close working relationship with the Channels Sales Team.
  • In order to execute product leadership it will be necessary to maintain knowledge of sales processes, proposals, pipeline management, partner engagement so that remedial actions can be recommended where necessary.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • >3 to 5 Years of relevant work experience is required.
  • Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology/Marketing/Business Studies/Engineering or other relevant course of study or Equivalent
  • Possesses strong data entry skills.
  • Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.
  • Able to demonstrate complex problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making.
  • Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Able to perform complex mathematical calculations.

Working Conditions:
  • Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
  • Frequent Travel Required (25%).

We are assisting a renowned luxury retail group in hiring an Accounting Manager to oversee finance operations across Asia. This role focuses on financial accounting, month-end closing, stakeholder coordination, and process enhancement across multiple APAC markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Led a small team and outsourced vendors in managing daily accounting operations across Asia
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and period-end closings in line with accounting standards
  • Act as key liaison with business planning & control teams for variance analysis and closing
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors, tax agents, and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Review financial statements and tax returns prepared by external parties
  • Drive finance system enhancements and process documentation
  • Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards
  • Support Head of Finance in resource planning and strategic initiatives

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA qualification required
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience, including 4+ years in a supervisory role
  • Strong operational knowledge of AP, AR, GL, and inventory accounting
  • Experience in retail, fashion, or FMCG industries preferred
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Cantonese and Mandarin a plus
  • Hands-on, adaptable, and proactive with a continuous improvement mindset

Position Overview

Ralph Lauren Asia Pacific is seeking to appoint an experienced Accounting Manager, Record to Report to oversee the general accounting operations from a controlling and reporting prospective. Responsibilities include handling the books of the APAC entities, reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures. Successful candidates combine excellent analytical skills with sound knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts. The ideal candidate should also have experience in collaborating and/or managing a team of finance professionals, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in delivering accounting tasks.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Overseethe General Ledger, Fixed Asset and Lease module including the monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Completion of the monthly accruals, journals, fixed assets and depreciation schedules
  • Partner with FP&A to support month-end close process
  • Timely review of monthly financial reports covering balance sheet, profit and loss, internal management reports and Corporate Financial Reporting packs
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP principles and our internal policy
  • Review intercompany invoices for rebilling
  • Review intercompany reports including ageing reports, balance sheet reconciliation reports and monthly statement
  • Review intercompany reconciliations balances across parties and investigate out-of-balance cases
  • Collaborate and liaise with markets, predominately with US Head Office, Europe, South Korea, Japan and Mainland China on intercompany transactions
  • Involve in various projects and system enhancement related to intercompany process
  • Liaise with external auditors and manage Audit related matters
  • Assist in process improvement andsystems enhancement initiatives
  • Proactively identifynew initiativesto improve efficiency

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • HKICPA or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Degree Holder in Accounting, Finance or any relevant area
  • Fluency in English, Mandarin & Cantonese
  • Experience in working for a sizable MNC, ideally in a commercial & retail organization with operations across different countries within the Asia-Pacific region
  • Perform tasks with diligent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Applications (Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel - understanding V-Lookup, Pivot & Functions)
  • Knowledge of Finance Systems - preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP system is an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to build a rapport with senior business executives as well as immediate team members
  • Ability to work well under pressure on multiple tasks & deadlines
