Main Duties:

  • To support Arts Space Team in the management of arts space projects, including recruitment of tenants, preparation of application guidelines, tender documents, the assessment of applications and related tasks;
  • To assist in the daily operation of art spaces projects;
  • To assist in preparing proposals, meeting papers and correspondence for arts space projects;
  • To assist in budget monitoring for art space projects;
  • To assist in the venue operations in arts space projects;

Requirements:

Management:

  • How time and resources are prioritized, organized, and allocated to provide an effective learning environment. Involves organizing one's own work, planning work for others, anticipating needs, and adjusting resources accordingly. For HKIS educators, this includes classroom management.

Assessment:

  • The monitoring of student understanding through a balanced program of developmentally appropriate formative and summative assessments aligned to UbD Stage 1 elements (including articulated standards, enduring understandings, knowledge and skills, misunderstandings, and academic vocabulary). HKIS faculty provide feedback to students and parents to promote learning and the use of assessment results in planning and instruction.

Communication:

  • The verbal and non-verbal articulation of messages within the HKIS community (students, parents, colleagues) both informal and informal situations provides clarity and accuracy of information. HKIS educators are highly attuned to the choice of the most appropriate medium and active listening to facilitate a mutual understanding of needs, issues, and concerns.
