Software Development Engineer - Video Generation

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to architect and manage our AI video generation platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full-stack development of web-based video generation products, from frontend interface design to backend system architecture, ensuring product functionality completeness and smooth performance
• Utilize cutting-edge frontend technologies such as React and Vue3 to build highly interactive, user-friendly interfaces that visualize video editing, effects display, and workflow guidance features
• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js, Python (Flask/Django/FastAPI), or Java (Spring Boot) to ensure efficient operation of core video processing algorithms and manage video assets and user project data
• Optimize frontend-backend data interactions, handle high-concurrency requests, and ensure system stability under large-scale user access, guaranteeing smooth video generation, storage, and playback processes
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and testing teams to participate in product iterations, providing innovative technical solutions and driving continuous product optimization

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 3-5 years of full-stack development experience with outstanding programming abilities and high code quality standards
• Hands-on project experience using AI coding products for complete product development
• Familiar with at least one backend development language such as, Python, Java, with mastery of corresponding development frameworks
• Database design and development experience with proficiency in MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Knowledge of video processing, understanding of video encoding and format conversion principles, familiar with video processing tools and related libraries
• Understanding of server operations and cloud computing platforms (AWS, Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud) with ability to deploy and configure servers
• Strong communication skills and team collaboration spirit, excellent problem-solving abilities, passionate about new technologies with enthusiasm for learning and exploration

We are seeking a hands-on and technically strong Senior Web Developer to lead development and technical governance of our core web platform built on Next.js and Node.js. This role requires active involvement in building features across the stack, while also maintaining responsibility for code quality, architectural standards, and technical alignment with external vendors.

This position play a critical role in shaping the technical direction of the website, supporting junior developers, and ensuring sustainable, high-performing frontend and backend code delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain scalable front-end architecture patterns, directory structures, and component reuse strategies across Next.js and Node.js
• Evaluate and select tooling and standards (linting, styling, testing libraries) to ensure maintainability
• Create and maintain internal development documentation and architecture guidelines
• Conduct regular code reviews and pull request checks across Web Developers and vendor contributions
• Enforce accessibility, performance, and SEO standards across the codebase
• Champion testing practices (unit, integration, smoke tests) and CI stability
• Act as the primary technical liaison with our web development advisor/vendor
• Ensure external code delivery aligns with internal standards, performance benchmarks, and naming conventions
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Delivery team to scope technical feasibility, effort estimates, and platform risks
• Monitor Core Web Vitals and initiate architectural improvements where needed
• Lead refactor initiatives and manage front-end tech debt prioritizations
• Coordinate with backend or DevOps teams on API design alignment, error handling conventions, and release readiness

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in front-end development with advanced knowledge of Node.js and Next.js
• Experience with different rendering methods, localization, SEO optimization, and API integration
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, performance profiling, and component documentation
• Strong communicator with ability to translate technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders
