The candidate will be a key member of the Regional FP&A team, primarily responsible for preparing various APAC consolidation reports for month-end closing, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. Additionally, the candidate will assist with expense reporting preparation and management for several functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in submitting consolidation reports for month-end closing, forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range plans for the APAC region.
- Help with the submission of expense forecasts and budgets
- Work with the reporting hub in India and secure continuous excellence in system integrity and report quality
- Support the consolidation APAC financial results, prepare trend & variance analysis, communicate with multiple Business Partners to draw insight and provide recommendations, if necessary
- Potential to rotate into different roles within the FP&A team or other finance areas in the future
- Other ad-hoc work as required
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with minimum 1 year experience
- Previous retail or fashion industry experience is preferred
- Strong customer centricity, continuous improvement mindset
- Results oriented; flexible and demonstrate a resourceful attitude
- A self-starter and team player; ability to manage multiple activities of different natures in a condensed timeframe
- Fluent in English; excellent verbal and written communication skills, embraces culturally diverse interpersonal relationships
- Experience in reporting & analytical tools, knowledge in AX, Insight & Essbase is a plus
- Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Candidate with more experience will be considered as Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst

Job Responsibilities
- Work directly with issuer clients in tandem with industry / country teams to develop a deep understanding of their company business models, financial metrics, management teams, and projected future performance
- Analyze the suitable investor universe for each transaction and speak to investors as part of the outreach process and execution
- Support in the preparation of transaction marketing and process materials
- Process coordination from deal launch to signing, in close cooperation with the client, its advisers and other internal and external parties, including investor outreach, active communication with investors / management, and overall transaction management
- Given the team’s high deal flow and its flat hierarchical structure, you will perform a great variety of tasks, including many opportunities to “step-up”
- You will experience training, hands-on learning opportunities, continuous mentoring and feedback, and numerous development opportunities
- You will develop strong functional skills in the major areas of investment banking with the aim to become a senior client executive who is capable of generating and executing your own transactions
- 3 years of full time investment banking or buyside experience
- Keen interest in private capital markets, minority equity and structured transactions. Interest in how minority transactions work including shareholder and governance agreements
- Desire to work across markets and sectors and have exposure to lots of different types of transactions
- Proficient technical ability and overall corporate finance proficiency. The role will require flexibility to work across the capital spectrum and be exposed to new and creative structures
- Impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals and clients
- Ability to take ownership across a transaction, with exposure to industry, country, and other internal and external partners
- Ability to show initiative and support across several transactions in parallel, managing time appropriately across competing demands
- Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently
- A well-rounded academic background from a top tier educational institution.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance/Economics or a related field.
- Fluency in Mandarin language skills to liaise with Chinese speaking stakeholders

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the capital markets operations industry, including the full trade lifecycle. In addition, you should have had exposure to project work, particularly in one of the following areas: transformation, risk & control, regulatory change, and/or technology delivery. This experience will enable you to translate your findings into tangible solutions.
Job Description
- Designing and implementing operating models
- Analysing the cost base of banks / functions to identify cost reduction opportunities
- Performing process modelling and target state process design
- Supporting work streams on large scale technology programmes
- Performing regulatory impact assessments, gap analysis, design and implementations;
- Translating regulatory requirements into tangible business transformation and improvements to ensure robust controls
- Deep technical or business line experience in at least one key area in Capital Markets - e.g., Front Office, Client Onboarding, Reconciliations, Settlements, Collateral Management etc
- Change experience within a major Capital Markets institution
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to clearly structure analysis
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong relationship / stakeholder management skills
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Proven change management and change delivery ability in one of the following areas:
- Experience in developing cost models and business cases
- Experience in delivering process transformation, including an understanding of process optimisation techniques
- Knowledge of process intelligence tooling (process mining, communications mining etc.)
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and their application in Capital Markets (e.g., GenAI, analytics, process automation)
- Knowledge of the financial regulatory environment
- Knowledge of first and second line of defence functions and the front-to-back risk management framework, including an understanding of non-financial risks (e.g., operational risk, conduct risk)
- Strong understanding of risk from an operating model, process, controls, and regulatory perspective
- An understanding of how technology architecture supports the F2B trade lifecycle e.g. understanding of pre-trade systems, risk management systems, post trade systems etc
- Experience of technology delivery and implementations
- Knowledge of agile methodologies
- Ability to analyse large data sets (e.g. trade data) and use industry standard tooling e.g. Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau
- Experience in Test Management and Event Management
