This role will provide operational support across a diverse range of asset classes. The ideal candidate will play a key role in trade processing, fund accounting and valuation, and account opening & KYC while collaborating with both internal stakeholders and external partners in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The Role
- Fund Operations & KYC
: Oversee daily fund operations and manage the KYC process by guiding client onboarding, conducting risk disclosures, reviewing documentation, and maintaining accounts with local and global custodians. - Account Operations
: Handle daily operational activities to ensure smooth processing of fund accounts. - Performance Monitoring
: Monitor and evaluate the net asset value (NAV) and performance of external fund managers. - Cash & Settlement Oversight
: Track and reconcile cash settlements, ensuring accuracy in cash activity status. - Reporting & Controls
: Produce management reports including portfolio performance and key control metrics for senior management and head office. - Reconciliations & SPC Updates
: Perform trust and trade reconciliations while maintaining accurate SPC information. - Stakeholder Engagement
: Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external parties such as custodians, trustees, fund administrators, IT vendors, and legal counsel. - Product Support
: Assist the product team in completing reporting materials and documentation. - Regulatory Reporting
: Prepare reports to comply with regulatory and compliance requirements. - System Testing
: Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for new system enhancements prior to production launch. - Project & Implementation
Support
: Assist in launching new funds, driving process improvements, and executing ad hoc projects.
Your Profile
- 8-10 years of experience in buyside fund operations
- Sound knowledge of Chinese funds
- Strong focus on control and proven success within Operations teams.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and prioritization skills.
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Proficient in PC applications, particularly Microsoft Office, including Excel and VBA.

Execute daily operations for Fund Total Return Swaps (TRS), including client meetings, sales training, and pre/post-trade project management and co-ordinations across front/middle/back offices;
Support OTC Product Specialist to develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge relating to cross-border derivatives (including total return swaps, OTC options, structured notes, and QFI-related investment products) and deliver to the sales team;

Manage the internal product post-on-boarding lifecycle for OTC derivatives and structured notes (including product launch, education, training, and marketing);
Deliver full trading tools and structured product opportunities to sales team;

Skills and Abilities
Bachelor degree or above;
