Your Profile
At least (Non-Degree) Tertiary education required.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a good team player.
Good command of both verbal and written business English and fluency in Mandarin essential.

The Control and Quality Assurance Specialist is a critical role; contributing to the delivery of successful business outcomes within Bupa to ensure appropriate business practices are being met.

Responsibilities
- Delivery of high quality, value add and efficient Quality Assurance ("QA") of customer interactions including Sales, Customer Services and Claims activities.
- Embed feedback loops so that QA outcomes drive meaningful enhancements to customer interaction and client impacting processes.
- Production of high quality, insightful Management Information to operations management to enable targeted changes to customer services training and processes.
- Identification, escalation and remediation of customer conduct issues identified through the QA process.
- Formulate findings based on assurance activities on controls and work with the business to agree appropriate improvement actions. Identify good and improvement areas about call quality upon monitored various types of calls and suggest follow-up actions for enhancement.
- Support the Control and Quality Assurance team to prepare reports which describe risks, findings and agreed actions and to finalise these reports for distribution to the business.
- Work with the Risk Champions and business stakeholders to identify key controls in place to manage the identified risks and, in conjunction with the other team members of Control and Quality Assurance team develop testing/monitoring approaches for these controls.
- Conduct process walkthroughs and sample testing to ensure risks are being appropriately managed by the business and in accordance with applicable regulatory obligations, contractual obligations and internal policies and procedures.
- Support control owners to complete Control Owner Self-assessment ("CSA") and monitor the completion of CSA.
- Provide contribute to improvements in the creation and maintenance of data analysis and methodology.
- Maintain stakeholder network across the business to enable the completion of the Control testing and Quality Assurance plan.
- Support the Director of Governance and Control in communicating the role of assurance across the three lines of defence, and the required capabilities within the first line.
- Complete Bupa training as required, and attend arranged training and information sessions in order to maintain knowledge of regulatory obligations. Individual reading may be required in order to understand the regulatory environment and obligations.
- Other responsibilities as directed by the Director of Governance and Control.
Qualifications, Training and Experience
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in control testing or quality assurance, or telemarketing, sales, customer service, claims, pre-authorisation experience in insurance industry.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects of varying length concurrently.
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Cantonese with ability to present articulately with appropriate level of gravitas.
- Good presentation, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Good data analytical skills.
