The F&A team comprises multiple functions from Financials Control & Business Performance Management, Procurement, Digital Transformation, Tax, Treasury and Operations. Together, the team optimizes our global finance initiatives and enjoys being detailed-oriented while multitasking across various exciting project scopes
Responsibilities- Business partner with multiple teams (Finance, Data, Tech, etc.) to deliver data-centric, automated solutions that streamline financial reporting workflows
- Support Senior Director in driving automation projects and follow them through from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time
- Analyse current financial processes to identify challenges, inefficiencies or areas for improvement
- Drive regular cadence (stand ups) as well as design, develop and execute on UAT plans to ensure issues are resolved independently
- Continuously monitor automated processes post go-live, to ensure they are functioning optimally
- Improve overall financial data stability by implementing controls to prevent recurring issues and minimise breaks or manual intervention
- Assist in other ad-hoc reports
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics and financial process automation
- Solid knowledge in accounting and finance concepts (able to work with finance managers closely)
- Proven track record in driving data & automation initiatives from design, testing to deployment
- Excellent in writing complex SQL and complicated business data logic
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS), finance databases (NetSuite) and BI tools (Tableau)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to oversee projects both independently and as part of a team

Role Introduction
Reports to: Digital Manager – Automation
The role is part of our Digital Department (DGT), which is committed to becoming one of the world’s greatest service brands by transforming into a digital leader known for our strong digital culture and capabilities.
As the Assistant Manager – Automation, you will support the Digital Manager in driving digital transformation for CFO teams both strategically and operationally, enabling them with a robust technological foundation to harness and scale the latest AI capabilities.
You will also champion the adoption of AI and other automation technologies, fostering an active community through evangelism and advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain close collaboration and provide expert advisory for CFO Teams to drive and ensure alignment of the digital transformation vision, strategy and roadmap
- Supporting key digital projects in the pipeline, such as the SAP AI implementation, Data, AI & automation initiatives
- Organise and facilitate governance meetings with CFO, BUs and IT, ensuring strategic alignment and efficient delivery
- Conduct workshops to evangelise the benefits of AI & automation technologies and share success stories with BUs to drive adoption
- Assist Digital Manager to research new technology trends and define the roadmap for automation technologies. Operate a Centre of Excellence and share best practices to help business units adopt digital innovation solution with particular focus on end-to-end automation
- Oversee the automation end-to-end delivery with IT and BU stakeholders while monitoring the key KPI performance
- Manage, coach and mentor digital analyst and senior digital analyst in the team
- University degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Management, Operations Research or related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in Digital or IT, preferably in areas of automation, AI, ML, Process mining, hyper automation
- Working knowledge in data visualisation tools and scripting languages e.g. Python, SQL, SAS
- Certified Automation tool users, e.g. UiPath and familiar with agile framework and lean methodologies is a plus
- Strong analytical abilities, and critical thinking skills
- Working knowledge in managing vendors and suppliers and project management
- Great team player with ability to inspire, build trust, and promote collaboration among stakeholders in IT, Digital, CFO Teams and other BUs
- Proactive, fast learning, independent, and passion for digital excellence
- Take ownership, resourceful and decisive with excellent influencing, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Curious, meticulous, self-motivated and strong continuous improvement mindset

The Opportunity:
TheSeniorSpecialist – Robotic process Automation (RPA)will be part of the FinanceData and Automationteam. The successful candidate will work on delivering key automation initiatives for various Finance stakeholders with the possibility of contributing to AI projects as well. This would require working closely with Finance users and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand and design high quality automations and own the initiatives end-to-end. - This position is based in Bangkok – relocation support provided for expat candidates **
- Work closely with stakeholders from different verticals in Finance.
- Consult stakeholders to propose the best suited automation solution.
- Build/manage/optimize E2E automations while ensuring security and compliance aspects
- Become familiar with finance ecosystem at Agoda
- Work with Gen AI technology to deliver efficiency saving automation projects
- Undergraduate/Post graduate or equivalent technical degree
- 8+ years of experience with RPA tools , with at least 5 in combined blue prism & power platform
- End-to-end delivery of at least 10 projects using Power platform and blue prism individually
- High sense of ownership and growth mindset, ability to be self-directed
- Establish robust RPA governance framework , bug/change request prioritization and strong control over scheduling of bots ensuring high Bot utilization factor
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence peers and build strong relationships within Finance and cross-functionally
- Accounting/Financial knowledge
- Strong understanding of ITGC controls , SOX Compliance
- Good to have: Process mining exp (Celonis) , OCR exp (Rossum), Alteryx knowledge
- Experience in full stack development – UI/UX / API dev /backend/Postgres DB
- technical/functional knowledge in procure to pay (P2P) , Order to cash (O2C) & Record to Report (R2R) cycle
- Familiarity with scrum/agile methodology
- Experience in advanced programming and Gen AI implementation
- Other helpful skills –Oracle Fusion knowledge, Celonis Certification, Power Automate Desktop Certification

The Opportunity:
TheSeniorSpecialist – Robotic process Automation (RPA)will be part of the FinanceData and Automationteam. The successful candidate will work on delivering key automation initiatives for various Finance stakeholders with the possibility of contributing to AI projects as well. This would require working closely with Finance users and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand and design high quality automations and own the initiatives end-to-end.
