The AV & Engineering Support Officer is the primary point of contact for all audio-visual (AV) needs and event support. Job Duties:

AV & Event Management

Administrative and procurement support

  • Maintain an inventory of all AV assets and software licenses.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma in Audio Visual Technology, Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related field.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site technical support at customer offices for all IT-related issues (ITMO), including hardware, software, and networking.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.
  • Support network infrastructure including routers, switches, wireless access points, and firewalls.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely resolution of technical problems.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and customer interactions.
  • Assist in IT asset management and inventory tracking.
  • Provide proactive maintenance and support to minimize downtime and improve system performance.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and build strong relationships with clients.

We are looking for:

  • Diploma / Certificate or above in IT, Networking, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on IT support experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Solid knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and common business applications.
  • Experience with network troubleshooting and configuration (LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi).
  • Familiarity with hardware diagnostics and repair.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese, English, and Mandarin is an advantage.
