Your opportunity starts here. We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to lead the critical data migration from legacy banking systems to our new core banking platform. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless transition by managing cross-functional teams and collaborating closely with technology vendors. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data migration, strong leadership capabilities, and excellent stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end data migration lifecycle from legacy systems to the new core banking platform, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Manage and coordinate Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and other technical resources to deliver migration objectives on time and within scope.
- Collaborate closely with the target system vendor to align on migration strategy, timelines, and cutover plans.
- Identify, track, and mitigate risks, issues, and task dependencies throughout the migration process.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive progress reports and dashboards for senior management and stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication between business, technical teams, and external vendors to resolve challenges proactively.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous reconciliation and validation processes.
- Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and best practices for future projects.
- Minimum 5 years of program/project management experience, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked on core banking transformation projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in data migration methodologies, ETL processes, and data reconciliation techniques.
- Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams and external vendors in a complex delivery environment.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing at all organizational levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
