About the job:

  • Analysis on the needs and issues of the client through interviews and workshops
  • Process and design technical and business requirements
  • Parameterise software/systems, including business modules
  • Document the project into systems and processes for management review
  • Close interaction with clients through regular project updates and networking

About you:

  • Bachelor in Business, Computing, Engineering or Science
  • Knowledge of one or multiple programming languages (Python, HTML, C++, Java)
  • Internship experience in the banking, technology and/or consulting industry will be an advantage
  • Understanding of SDLC will be an advantage
  • Capable of applying technology principles to business
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Highly analytical and structured in problem solving; able to quickly understand complex situations
  • Good presentation and communication skills with clients and colleagues
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and team leadership skills

As a seasoned Investment Banking professional, you’ll have experience developing strong relationships with corporates and financial institution clients and working across different products. You’ll work on deals and transactions across the spectrum of our banking products, including mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, loans, and equity and debt capital raises. This role is based in Hong Kong within the TMT banking team.

Job Responsibilities
  • Work with senior bankers in originating, structuring, and executing financing and advisory transactions across various products including M&As, IPOs, bonds, loans, and structured products.
  • Develop content in marketing/execution materials for maximum client impact.
  • Create financial models and detailed valuation analyses for pitches and projects.
  • Interact with senior team members and client management teams to execute transactions, identifying and managing all risks involved.
  • Guide, review, and coordinate the analytic work of junior bankers to advance marketing and execution processes.
  • Liaise with internal and external parties on transactions (e.g., lawyers, accountants, counterparties).

Managing Director- Corporate, Financial & Technology Communications Consultancy (HONG KONG)

About the role

A leading strategic communications consultancy firm is currently seeking a talented Managing Director to cover Hong Kong & Greater China. This role will lead the firm helping drive the development of this cutting-edge integrated communications consultancy across Greater China. With a renowned reputation in corporate communications, financial communications and integrated communications advisory with a growing global presence.

The ideal candidate will have experience driving communications practices within Financial services, Technology and/ or Corporate Affairs etc. In addition, the applicant should have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with a commercial mindset, knowing how to hunt "new business" and "farm" existing clients. Additionally, providing counsel to clients, and building strong teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead P&L responsibilities and advance the firm's Public Relations offering alongside it's other advisory practices
  • Lead client development and new business initiatives for listed and non-listed companies across PR, social, and thought leadership
  • Serve as day-to-day contact for some of the firm's largest clients in local and regional markets
  • Manage team leads on client projects, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables across Greater China
  • Advise clients on critical issues, brand reputation and challenging financial situations
  • Create innovative communication strategies and plans to drive client business growth
  • Develop and manage the firm's media relations and media database

About the Candidate

  • University degree in Public Relations, Media Studies or Finance
  • Minimum 10-15 + years of experience in corporate public relations, or investor relations
  • Experience working with clients in financial services and technology is also is a MUST.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to think and write creatively and strategically
  • Proficiency in written and spoken ENGLISH and CHINESE is a must as this role has both global and regional elements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and creative spirit

Responsibilities

  1. Provide one-stop service to credit card customers by handling phone enquiries and processing applications to enhance customer experience.
  2. Implement customer retention programs and identify cross-selling opportunities proactively.
  3. Ensure all operational and sales activities are in full compliance with both internal and external regulatory and compliance requirements.


Requirements

  1. Post secondary or above, preferably degree holder in any disciplines.
  2. Experience in call centre or banking industry, good knowledge of credit card operations and banking services is an advantage.
  3. Customer-focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Able to work in shifts on weekends and public holidays.
  5. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua is an advantage.
  6. Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Customer Service Executive.
