We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Manager, Brokerage Business under the Call center, Wealth Management Business.

This is an expanding role designed to enhance our customer service and sales role operations. The candidate will play a pivotal role in leveraging new AI and call center technologies to elevate our team's performance and deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

Call Centre

  • Service duties: Handle customer enquiries by phone or email relating to general enquiry, products / service launch, stock trading and any service requests by clients.
  • Sales duties: Support the account opening process, including Know Your Client (KYC) procedures and risk disclosure. Assist with the entire client lifecycle post-account opening, including but not limited to order placements, fund transactions, and regular account reviews.
  • Assist in the development and testing of Omni-channel services and / or AI chatbots to improve customer interactions.
  • Conduct daily reporting, start/end of day processes, and system checks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Perform outbound calls in-relation to sales, services, compliance and audit initiatives.
  • Participate in system testing to ensure ongoing functionality and efficiency.
  • Perform any other job duties or projects as assigned by team manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above in Business / Finance discipline with minimum 3 year’s working experience. Experience in a call center within the financial industry is preferred.
  • Experience in Omni-channel or AI chatbot development is highly preferred.
  • Attained relevant SFC licenses for carrying out Type 1 & Type 2 regulated activities; IIQE is a plus.
  • Strong customer service mindset with high dedication to service excellence. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with both external and internal parties.
  • Solid understanding of securities trading and wealth management financial products.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese ; fluency in Mandarin is a must.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and collaborate as a team player.

Qualifications

About the Role

Support Channel Head to drive sales strategy for mapped accounts in aligning with channel overall direction.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Channel Head on implementation and execution of the business plans and initiatives.
  • Lead a unit of PDMs to achieve business targets.
  • Develop new business ideas and lead the continuous development of the Brokerage channel sales platform.
  • Sales management with subordinates and review the business performance of mapped accounts regularly in accordance with sales KPIs.
  • Strengthen and maintain a good relationship with respective partners and their key personnel to drive and implement new initiatives, unleash business potential, and penetrate the business market share.
  • Provide all levels of support to key partners to capture business opportunities.
  • Penetrate the TRs and facilitate them to deliver quality, compliant, and consistent business.
  • Conduct regular reviews on business performance and sales quality practice of the brokers to ensure compliance with AIA’s business standards and principles.
  • Drive and manage digital enablement utilization both internally and externally.
  • Continue to grow subordinates with ongoing career development planning.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching for subordinates and support them in handling day-to-day partner-related issues.
  • Share new ideas, best practices, and market intelligence with subordinates and be a team player.
  • Ensure team members (if any) who perform regulated activities have obtained the relevant licenses and fulfilled the licensing requirements.

Job Requirements:

  • University/College graduate plus at least 6 years relevant experience and 2 years of managerial experience preferred.
  • Demonstration of self-motivated and self-driven personality and ability to work independently.
  • Good organizing and management skills.
  • Good insurance and investment product knowledge.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good written and spoken English and Chinese/Mandarin.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Obtain relevant license if the job involves regulated activities.
