  • Oversee operational activities of securities business, including dealing, settlement, finance, risk management, compliance, with SFC Core Functions Manager-In-Charge responsibilities

What you’ll be working on:

  • Identify system enhancements and automation opportunities for faster transaction processing and better reporting accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to payment gateways, reconciliation tools, and financial systems.

Compliance & Policy Implementation

  • Develop and implement client fund policies in accordance with regulatory requirements (e.g., ASIC, FCA and offshore jurisdictions).
  • Ensure adherence to AML (Anti-Money Laundering), KYC (Know Your Customer), and risk management frameworks in all funding-related processes.
  • Work with compliance teams to ensure financial operations align with brokerage regulations and best practices.

Treasury & Liquidity Management

  • Work closely with the treasury team to ensure adequate liquidity is maintained in PSPs and bank accounts.
  • Monitor and forecast funding requirements across different jurisdictions to prevent liquidity shortfalls.
  • Ensure sufficient fund allocation for weekend instant withdrawals and high- volume trading periods.

Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on funding activities, reconciliations, and financial risks.
  • Conduct data analysis on funding trends, client behaviors, and system performance to optimize financial strategies.
  • Support treasury functions in ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs and client transactions.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Lead and manage a team at least 10 specialist / team leads ensuring efficient operation.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their technical skills and regulatory knowledge.
  • Liaise with banks, PSPs, and payment processors to ensure smooth and cost-effective fund transfers.
  • Coordinate with support, operations and risk departments to streamline funding processes.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Min 5 years of experience in CFD brokerage or exchange with both offshore and onshore licenses.
  • Proven track record of handling client funds exceeding USD 1 million.
  • Experience managing a team of at least 10 people across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong knowledge of payment processing systems, client fund reconciliation, and financial regulations across different regulatory entities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience optimizing funding operations for global entities.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting, SQL, Excel, or automation tools for reconciliation.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced brokerage environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written; Mandarin skills are a plus.
  • Hold IIQE Paper 1, 3, and 5 certifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve the business growth and profit objectives of the key broker account business portfolio
  • Establish and maintain close relationship with key broker account and clients to maintain, explore and develop business opportunities
  • Evaluate risks and provide sound advice and services to direct customer
  • Perform the role of underwriter – identify potential risks in order to provide best possible coverage to customer in accordance with Company’s underwriting policy
  • Ensure all business to be written in accordance with respective acceptance authority and seek for appropriate reinsurance support or referral when necessary
  • Support supervisors in business development, pricing, promotion, sales and distribution channels of the business
  • Support supervisor to monitor the team to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of daily operation, including corporate credit policy, standard on turnaround time and accuracy requirement
  • Support supervisor to lead the team and provide technical advice or guidance to subordinates

Requirement:

  • Degree holder preferably in insurance or business-related disciplines
  • Holder or in progress of professional insurance qualification such as ANZIIF or ACII
  • At least 8 years of experience in general insurance in which 2 years should be at supervisory level
  • Knowledgeable in general insurance underwriting, ideally in P&C product
  • Solid experience in account management
  • Excellent customer services, supervisory, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, independent, multi-tasking, result-driven, customer-centric with strong business acumen
  • Proficient in both written & spoken English and Chinese
  • Hands on PC skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
