POSITION SUMMARY:
Manager (SAP) of the Applications Develpoment team is responsible for assisting the Senior Manager to evaluate and plan the SAP related development projects, to provide the guidance and standard to team members for SuccessFactors development and integrations, ABAP programming on SAP ECC, design, testing, and debugging work related to the implementation, and enhancement of SAP ECC and SuccessFactors.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and develop the processes and standards of the SAP related development service (ECC and SuccessFactors)
Work with management to provide the recommendation on SAP development related initiatives to support the business needs
Plan and manage the team resources to deliver the highest value in terms of company direction, business needs and technical professionalism
Estimate and obtain management support for the timeline, budget and resources required to support the SAP development functions
Review and approve the application development project's architecture design and implementation approach (ECC or SuccessFactors focus)
Architect and develop robust, scalable solution in SAP ECC using ABAP including complex reports, interfaces, enhancements and forms.
Design and build complex integrations between SAP SuccessFactors and other systems, utilizing modern middleware(SAP Integration Suite) and API-based approaches.
Perform hands-on, expert-level debugging and troubleshooting for critical production issues across the SAP landscape.
Lead the team to work effectively with alignment to company and departmental directions and plans
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
8+ years development working experience with team management or task assignment experience, especially on SAP related team.
Strong experience and skill on either ABAP programming or SuccessFactors Integrations and Reports
Experience in SAP ECC and working knowledge of HR, FI, CO, and MM modules
Experience in SAP S/4 HANA and Fiori is preferred
Deep expertise in one of the following two areas:
Classic ABAP Development: Mastery of ALV, enhancement framework(BAdI, User-exits), forms and dialog programming.
Cloud Integration: Proven experience developing complex interfaces for SAP cloud products(like SuccessFactors) using middleware such as SAP Integration Suite.
Experience in S4/HANA and Fiori development is highly desirable.
Hands-on experience developing OData services and strong understanding of API-based integration is a significant plus.
Working knowledge across multiple SAP modules(e.g. HR,FI,CO,MM).
Solid experience in SAP SuccessFactors project is a big plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a good ability to communicate in English, while the ability to communicate in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is a plus.
Strong analytical and technical skills.
Good problem solving skills.
Willing to travel occasionally.
