Job Summary
Reporting to Deputy Executive Manager, Business Insights & Data Analytics, the job holder is responsible for analysing and identifying insights for management on business development opportunities.
*The Job *
You will:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide in-depth analysis and business insights, and support tasks as appropriate to achieve wagering business KPIs and cross-divisional business needs. Use analytics and data visualisation tools to provide data-driven recommendation on wagering segment's business issues and marketing programs, digital and physical channel design and operations as well as generating insights for other Divisions
- Collect data and dashboard / report requirements to support business analysis for insights
- Develop dashboard and reports to automate data visualistaion and regular reporting to formulate actionable insights and recommendations
- Ability to use Alteryx and/or SQL to formulate complex queries to retrieve and manipulate data from various databases. Wrangle data to support data analysis and data visualisation
- Maintain dashboards and reports for the Division
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices in data analytics
- Ensure compliance with Responsible Gambling Policy and all stipulated legal requirements pertaining to wagering, thereby protecting the integrity of the Club's businesses
- Undertake other duties as assigned by supervisors
About You
You should have:
- Bachelor degree in Statistics, Quantitative Analysis, Computer Science, Data Science or related disciplines
- A minimum of 4 years' relevant experience in customer analysis and data visualisation
- Hands-on experience in relational database
- Experience in various data transformation techniques to aggregate transactional data
- Experience working with SQL and Tableau is a must
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights
- Transform raw data into meaningful visualisations that drive strategic decisions
- Ability to work extensively with data wrangling and visualisation tool (e.g. Tableau, Alteryx)
- Good business acumen, consumer market trends and problem solving
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills
- Experience in Alteryx, Python, Databricks, customer data modeling is a plus

Role Purpose
The Specialist, Business Insights will support the design and implementation of the airline's customer experience and data-informed initiatives. Reporting to the Manager, Business Insights, this role concentrates on delivering results that support the Company's strategic objectives, turning customer insights into actions, and producing measurable business impact through robust analytics and practical recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse data from journey experience surveys and brand health trackers to identify key trends and issues, enabling timely actions and guiding long-term improvements through regular reporting.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to understand needs for voice of customer, design and build data dashboards that deliver actionable insights. This includes integrating data from journey experience surveys and other data points.
- Assist to conduct explorative studies on new products and services, covering design, planning, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring quality and relevancy with stakeholders.
- Leverage AI and NLP tools to analyse customer feedback, uncover sentiment and key themes, and deliver actionable insights that deepen understanding of customer perceptions and drive business improvements.

- Support ad hoc requests involving desktop research, competitive analysis and benchmarking exercises, covering all stages of the customer experience journey as required.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, statistics, marketing, hospitality or a related field.
- At least 2 years' experience in customer insights, data analytics, market research, or internships demonstrating relevant skills.

Job Purpose

Role
Our Consultants work with marketing professionals in various industries and are exposed to a wide range of market research & consulting projects for global brand names. We utilise qualitative and quantitative research as we support the development well rounded and versatile Market Researchers. We also believe in variety and broad learning opportunities for career growth, so our Consultants work across a variety of different client industries.
Job Responsibilities-
• Work with a team of Consultants on all stages of the market research process.
• Design and execute quantitative and qualitative projects.
• Prepare client documents, reports and presentations.
• Analyse and interpret market research data.
• Manage research projects to ensure all project stages are completed on time and accurately.
• Handle client relationships and queries.
• Attend client meetings, including presenting information and recommendations to clients.
You'll need to have-
• University degree in marketing, business studies, statistics, psychology, social sciences or related fields.
• Skills in analysing, organising, preparing and presenting information.
• Proficiency in project management and meeting tight deadlines.
• Desire to work with leading edge brands and blue-chip corporations and help them shape their future.
• Experience in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluency in verbal and written English & Cantonese is essential. Mandarin is an advantage.
