Job Title: Data Analyst

As a data analyst, you will be responsible for compiling actionable insights from data and assisting program, sales, and marketing managers to build data-driven processes. Your role involves driving initiatives to optimise operational excellence and revenue.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure data flows smoothly from source to destination for processing.
2. Utilise strong database skills to work with large, complex data sets to extract insights.
3. Filter and cleanse unstructured or ambiguous data into usable datasets for analysis.
4. Identify new data sources to support analytics initiatives and collaborate with partners to integrate data.
5. Build tools to automate repetitive tasks, freeing bandwidth for analytics.
6. Collaborate with managers and analysts to generate actionable insights across product lines.
7. Work with top management to prioritize information and analytics needs.
8. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on data projects.

Requirements:

1. Bachelors or Masters in a quantitative field (Engineering, Statistics, Math, Economics, or Computer Science) with over 2 years of experience preferred.
2. Proficiency in any high-level programming language; familiarity with R and statistical packages is a plus.
3. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
4. Experience with database technologies (SQL, R, SAS, JMP), data warehousing, transformation, and processing.
5. Experience with text analytics, data mining, and social media analytics.
6. Knowledge of statistical techniques such as Logistic Regression, Classification, Clustering, Neural Networks, Random Forests, etc.
7. An interest in Blockchain and cryptocurrency.

This role can be remote within the APAC timezone but is preferably based in Singapore or Hong Kong.

Primary Purpose :
