Responsibilities
- Sourcing new partners & Channels
- Source, identify and engage external partners for business referrals
- Ongoing engagement and relationship management of partners
- Lead and support any offsite and roadshow events as required
- Partner and Business Introducer Onboarding
- Onboarding partners and business introducers as per policy and procedures including KYC and CDD
- Treasures acquisition and account opening
- Acquire new Treasures customers through partners and external channels
- Ensure account opening as per policy and procedures
- Data and Industry development
- Data analytics and customer insights to develop relevant activities / campaigns
- Monitor competitor activities and respond to market changes
- Keep abreast of industry and regulatory developments to ensure alignment of business strategy
- Sales Governance and Compliance Control
- Adhere to bank’s policies, standards, operations guidelines/ procedures, security and internal control measures
- Comply with the compliance and regulatory requirements and code of conduct, particularly those applicable to the course of selling i.e. sales staff’s licensing and fitness & properness, KYC, FNA, anti-money laundering & documentation completeness in a/c opening & in each deal
- Comply with the registered capacity as well as any conditions imposed by the HKMA and other regulatory bodies. This includes compliance with the applicable requirements of the Code of Conduct for Persons Licensed by or Registered with the SFC
- Degree holder, preferably in business or finance related discipline;
- Preferably with 5 years of working experience in sales & service-related industry, preferably with exposure in Consumer Banking business
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of frontline general banking business is preferred
- Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English are required

Position Summary:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for creating a database of prospective clients, maintaining rapport with key accounts, and updating compliance knowledge to brokers while providing training. The role requires planning and implementing marketing plans, utilizing business intelligence, and conceptualizing new initiatives to increase sales. The successful candidate will achieve annual KPI targets without compromising business quality, adhere to Insurance Authority (IA) protocols and procedures, and provide the utmost moral and professional service to brokers. Transparency in working plans and schedules will be maintained with management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Database Management: Create and maintain a database of prospective clients.
2. Client Relations: Sustain rapport with key accounts to ensure long-term relationships and business growth.
3. Compliance and Training: Update compliance knowledge for brokers and provide necessary training.
4. Marketing Planning: Plan and implement effective marketing strategies to drive business growth.
5. Business Intelligence: Utilize business intelligence to inform decision-making and strategy formulation.

Qualifications:
