About the role:
As our Channel Partnerships Manager (VC/Startup Ecosystem), you are responsible for business growth through our investor/funds and startup ecosystem, as well as our portfolio of gaming channel partners.
Working closely with Regional Lead and Global Head, Startups/VC, you will own, design, implement, and manage our channel partnership strategy covering investors and startup ecosystem partners including but not limited to Incubators, Accelerators,VCs, Funds, gaming partners and other ecosystem partners. You will be taking ownership of the new business acquisition and revenue for startups partnerships segment.
- Develop, own and execute channel partnerships for the VC/Startup ecosystem vertical in Hong Kong/China
- Identify, negotiate, onboard and maintain key channel partners to drive business growth
- Develop partner engagement best practices through events to drive start-up acquisitions
- Establish Aspire as a thought leader within start-up ecosystem in Hong Kong and China
- Measure and report the performance of partnerships, gain insights and improvise
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand user requirements and improve the partnership program
- 5 years of experience dealing with partnerships or business development in a bank, fintech or B2B tech company.
- Experience in managing partnerships across VC/Startup ecosystems across Hong Kong and Greater China
- Strong network with the investors and founders communities across Hong Kong and China
- Proven track record of driving growth and partnerships strategies
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across teams
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and dealing with ambiguity
- Self-driven to deliver, with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Possesses analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin to communicate with partners in Hong Kong and Greater China

The Channel Partnerships team for Korea is responsible for expanding Airwallex’s partner relationships, specifically across three core industries: Accounting, Start-ups & Ecommerce. Airwallex’s partner relationships drive brand awareness, customer acquisition as well as various forms of product integrations and co-marketing opportunities. We are seeking a strategic, data driven Channel Partnerships Manager to support the Korea Partnerships team.
We are looking for a technology-minded, Fintech enthusiast who is driven by learning the ins and outs of our platform so that you are equipped with the knowledge to solve complex problems. This will allow you to work with customers to understand their needs and how Airwallex can further add value to their business.
This role is based in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities
- Acquire and manage relationships with Airwallex ambassadors and strategic partners, particularly within e-commerce, accounting & the start-up space.
- Manage all processes for acquiring and managing Airwallex partnerships (prospecting, meetings, contracting, integration (if required), onboarding and on-going management/ activation)
- Overachieve your revenue targets through referrals from your partnerships.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams within Airwallex, including legal, strategy, operations and finance where required to deliver a seamless experience for our partners.
- Maintain ongoing engagement with partners to build towards a long-lasting relationship.
- Contribute ideas and initiatives to senior Airwallex stakeholders on how we can continue to strengthen our partner network.
We’re looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in partnership, sales, marketing or business development.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Institution
- Experience in negotiation and partnership proposal development preferred.
- Experience in strategy/ops or working in tech or a fast-growing start-up would be advantageous.
- Existing relationships / strong network with referral partners in accounting, technology, e-commerce, or start-ups preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal and in-person communication skills (Korean & English)
- Strong analytical skills with experience with tools including Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- You have prior experience working in a global fast-paced technology company
- You are technically minded and have prior experience working in API B2B sales or account management for a similar organisation

Role Overview
As theStrategic Partnerships & Alliances Lead – Global , you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships worldwide, while being based in Europe. You will also bring deep understanding of sustainability workflows, including supply chain transparency and human rights compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Growth
- Collaborate with the Chief Commercial Officer to define and deliver the global partnerships and alliances strategy.
- Identify new partnership needs based on market trends, client demands, and strategic priorities.
- Target, evaluate, and develop high-impact partnership opportunities across industries and geographies.
Partnership Development & Execution
- Build and manage relationships with:
- Resellers & redistributors to expand reach and market penetration.
- White label partners to enhance and diversify our solutions suite.
- Referral partners , including global banks and consultancies, to drive qualified pipeline and strategic influence.
- Execute partnership agreements and coordinate integration across product, commercial, and operational teams.
- Ensure partnerships are structured for long-term business benefit and aligned with governance guidelines.
Optimization & Transformation
- Continuously evolve and optimize existing partnerships to maximize performance and strategic alignment.
- Proactively identify and address underperforming relationships—transforming or retiring them to avoid leakage and inefficiency.
