Position Description

This position is responsible to oversee the smooth running of the Child Care Home by managing a team of

over 60 staff members to ensure the well-being of all children under our care.

Key Responsibilities

• To provide full range of management, administration and strategic leadership to ensure the Child Care

Home is a safe and secure place for children to stay in.

• Perform leadership and management to team members and volunteers so as to provide quality

services in holistic care to our serving communities.

• To ensure the Child Care Service is compiled with the requirements of relevant ordinance under

HKSAR.

• Maintain sufficient and efficient team to ensure a smooth operation by recruiting, selecting, orienting,

and training employees and volunteers.

• Active collaboration with other service managers and professionals in community, including medical

officers, public officers, lawyers, to carry out holistic and professional case management and so best

support and prepare the children to permanent and loving families.

• Administrate the budget to ensure the finance accountability and reach the optimal service

effectiveness and efficiency.

• Develop a robust monitoring and evaluation system and a research agenda in collaboration with

colleagues and partners to build the evidence base for field activities.

• Assist the Director of Clinical and Residential Programs to plan and execute service initiatives.

• Perform other duties as and when necessary.

Requirements

• Degree holder in relevant discipline with at least 10 years related work experience, preferably in

medical, allied health, social services

• Experience working in a non-profit organization is highly valued

• Familiar with Hong Kong residential service system, delivery and improvements.

• Mature, energetic, analytical, able to work under pressure and in a multi-culture setting.

• Excellent spoken and written Chinese and English; along with strong intercultural communication skills.

• Must share the commitment of Mother's Choice in upholding the safety and protection of children as

paramount.

What you'll be doing?

Able to work with the team to plan and conduct age-appropriate (0-6 years old) classroom activities

Perform duties as required to prepare for the class including set up, cleaning and material sourcing.

Able to think creatively and decorate rooms innovatively

Degree or above

Role Description

The Early Childhood Music Program Lead will oversee and coordinate activities within our early childhood parent-child music camp for
children aged 3 to 4 OR 5 to 6
, taking place in 2026.

The camp is designed to introduce young learners and their parents to music through play-based and sensory rich experiences, encouraging joyful exploration and shared discovery.

As the main host and facilitator, the Program Lead will guide families through each day's journey, ensuring smooth transitions between sessions led by specialist coaches. The role involves engaging both children and parents throughout the activities and maintaining a warm, educational environment that reflects our teaching philosophy and commitment to meaningful early music learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the
  primary host and coordinator
  of the
  parent-child music camp
  , guiding the overall learning flow.
• Coordinate and communicate
  with internal staff and specialist instructors to ensure each module aligns with the camp's learning objectives and maintains a consistent tone and teaching approach.
• Plan daily flow and pacing between multiple modules

• Lead opening and closing sessions

Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Music or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience teaching or facilitating music programs for children aged 3 to 4 OR 5 to 6.
• Warm personality with the ability to connect with both children and parents.
• Confident in hosting and leading group activities in English (Cantonese or Mandarin proficiency an advantage).
• Experience coordinating teams or multi-teacher programs is preferred.
• Creative, organised, and enthusiastic about music education and child development.
