About The Role
Provide support and arrange training to agencies. Provide support and monitor the claims teams so as to ensure the claims teams in HK OPS effectively handle matters ranging from clerical support, claims processing, communication with different parties and service recovery which are in line with the Company and department goals.

- Stakeholder Management: Liaise effectively with policyholders, brokers, loss adjusters, legal counsel, and internal departments (e.g., Underwriting, Finance) to ensure smooth claims processing.
- Deputizing (if applicable): May be required to assist or deputize for the Claims Manager in their absence or on specific initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree holder in Insurance, Law, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in handling Marine & cargo claims within the general insurance sector. Experience with large/complex claims is highly advantageous.
- Leadership Potential: Demonstrated ability to guide or mentor junior team members is preferred.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance policies, coverage interpretation, relevant legislation, and advanced claim handling procedures.
- Professional Qualifications: Holder of, or significant progress towards, professional insurance qualifications such as ANZIIF (Senior Associate/Fellow) or ACII is highly desirable. Must meet minimum local mandatory qualification requirements where relevant.
