• We are looking for SALES EXECUTIVE TRAINEE - with details as follows :
  

• Report to Product Manager
• Team work in Life Science Division
• Conduct Sales and Marketing Activities for Life Science Products focusing on medical laboratories in various fields including Hospitals, Universities and Governmental Organizations.
• Responsible for sales of instruments and consumable in respective territories
• Develop Professionalism in Technology Presentation and Technical advisory service, become knowledgeable about new technology and market trend
• Maintain good customer relationship and achieve high customer satisfaction
• Respond to Customer inquires and provide on-site technical support
• Assist in design of marketing plans and preparation of marketing materials
• Manage assigned business development
• Bachelor Degree or above in Life Science, Biological Science and related disciplines.
• Fresh graduates or 1-2 years experience in Medical or Laboratory device/equipment
• Reliable with can-do attitude
• General in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Computer Skills (Operation of Window and Office such as Outlook, Excel and Word)
• 5 days work : Mon to Fri 9:00am-5:30pm
• On-the-job training will be provided

Advanced Biomedical Instrumentation Centre Limited (“ABIC”) is collaborative effort
coordinated by the University of Hong Kong (HKU) undertaking R&D projects at the Hong Kong Science Park. The aim of the Centre is to develop new and disruptive biomedical instrumentation that will meet the growing needs in medicine and contribute
sustainably to human health. Applications are invited for appointment as Product Development Scientist (specialized in microfluidics/ lab-on-a-chip) (Ref.: H01/2025/073) for innovative research projects in the theme of Advanced Medical Device Components based at the Hong Kong Science Park.

Job Description
• Designing, developing, and optimizing microfluidic devices and systems for
high-throughput screening applications
• Prototyping microfluidic systems and platforms through integration and
instrumentation
• Working with internal R&D team to develop and establish standard operation
procedures for various types of biological samples
• Working with both academic collaborators and industrial partners
• Translating research outcomes into marketable applications and business
opportunities
• Writing proposals, reports, articles, patents, technical specifications, and other
publications
• Delivering high-quality presentations to collaborators and partners
• Handling other relevant tasks as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Skills and Requirements
• Hold a PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic
Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related disciplines
• Strong knowledge and expertise in microfluidics, including device
design/fabrication, building up measuring system, system control, applications
in biomedical fields, etc.
• Preferable with research experience in droplet microfluidics, system
integration and instrumentation
• With strong passion in conducting R&D in biomedical instrumentation
• Candidates with a clear career plan for product development within the
biomedical industry (but not a purely academic career) will be given higher
priority.
• Candidates with proven experience in lab-on-a-chip affinity-based cell
analysis, cell sorting, cell and tissue culture, organ-on-chip, cytometry, and
spectroscopy will be given higher priority
• Mature, self-motivated, confident and able to work under pressure
• Strong organizational skills and excellent time management to handle multiple
tasks
• Good interpersonal skills and a strong sense of responsibility in team-works
• Fluent in English in both writing and verbal communications
