Company: Artemis Communications, a part of Crossing Planes
Reports to: Director of Digital Content & Operations
Location: Hong Kong
Company: Artemis Communications, a part of Crossing Planes
Reports to: Director of Digital Content & Operations
About UsAt Artemis Communications , we don’t just publish stories — we shape the cultural lens through which luxury travel and lifestyle are seen.
As the creative storytelling division of Crossing Planes , a multi-family office based in Hong Kong, we operate two respected print magazines and four digital platforms that explore luxury travel, culture, and lifestyle across Asia and beyond — always with a sharp point of view and uncompromising editorial standards.
Whether it’s a feature in print, a long-read online, or a single caption on Instagram, every piece of content we create is crafted with purpose — designed to reflect our editorial voice, spark curiosity, and connect with thoughtful, discerning audiences. We’re now looking for a social-savvy, independent thinker to bring that same level of thoughtfulness and strategic execution to our social platforms.
The RoleWe’re seeking a Social Media Coordinator to own the full lifecycle of our social media strategy — from concept to execution, from posting to performance.
You’ll work closely with the Director of Digital Content & Operations, but you won’t be micromanaged. We want someone who can take the reins, suggest creative directions, test ideas, and grow with us.
This is your chance to build something from the ground up with a respected, established brand that’s ready to evolve — not just post content, but shape a digital voice that reflects who we are.
You Are.- Someone who’s built — or helped build — social accounts that actually grew, performed, and resonated (whether for a brand, a client, or yourself)
- A creative who understands that performance and aesthetics aren’t mutually exclusive
- Sharp-eyed about the details: lighting, fonts, tone, pacing — it all matters to you
- Energized by experimentation, testing, and refining based on what works
- Someone who sees social media as an extension of brand voice, not just a channel
- Excited to join a small, ambitious, agile team where you’ll have real ownership and input
- Develop, execute, and refine a multi-platform social strategy across: Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Threads, X, TikTok, and YouTube
- Work closely with the Director of Digital Content & Operations to ensure social efforts align with editorial, brand, and digital marketing objectives
- Ideate and produce original content that complements the overall digital content strategy — including new formats, series, and social-first ideas
- Translate long-form editorial and print content into short-form, platform-specific posts that retain tone, value, and context
- Write compelling captions, headlines, and overlays that feel editorial — never generic
- Create and edit visuals using Canva, Adobe Suite, or your preferred tools
- Analyze content performance, interpret social metrics, and refine strategy based on key insights
- Own the content calendar: plan, schedule, publish, and optimize across platforms
- Engage directly with audiences through DMs, comments, and collaborations
- Build and nurture relationships with media partners, creators, and potential sponsors — including proactive outreach and content sourcing from regional/international contacts
- Proven track record growing and managing social media accounts — both brand and personal
- Refined visual judgment and a strong editorial eye for what’s share-worthy and save-worthy
- Polished copywriting skills — especially for captions, short-form content, and text overlays
- Proficient with both professional tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut) and native platform features (e.g. Instagram Reels editing, story design, in-app text tools)
- Confident interpreting metrics and using insights to drive creative decisions
- Self-starting mindset — you’re proactive, not reactive
- Comfortable pitching ideas, owning your work, and collaborating as part of a strategic creative team
- A cohesive, consistent, and elevated social presence that captures the Artemis brand’s voice, aesthetic, and storytelling approach
- Increased brand visibility, follower growth, and meaningful engagement
- Social content that’s not just reactive — it’s planned, tested, and optimized
- Clear alignment between social strategy and our wider digital/editorial goals
- Systems and workflows that make scaling easy — for both you and the brand
- Shape the voice of Artemis and its titles: You’ll contribute to how the brand — and each of its platforms — connects with audiences across digital channels
- Creative autonomy with intention: Bring your ideas to life through thoughtful experimentation grounded in editorial and brand strategy
- Purpose-driven work: Play a key role in redefining what modern luxury storytelling looks like — in Asia and globally
- Flexible structure, clear outcomes: We care more about results and collaboration than rigid schedules
- Room to grow: This full-time role is designed with long-term potential in mind, offering opportunities to take on greater creative ownership and expand your impact as the brand evolves
- Collaborative by nature: You’ll work closely with a small, editorially driven team that values clarity, quality, and creative input
- Join a respected, established brand: Jetsetter Magazine is one of Asia’s most recognized luxury lifestyle publications — and we’re building its digital future with intention
We value original thinkers — people who see content as strategy, not just output.
We prioritize action — but only when it’s thoughtful, tested, and aligned with the brand.
And while we’re proud of what we’ve built, we’re focused on where we’re going — building with intention and ambition.
Compensation- Full-time salaried role based in Hong Kong
- Compensation is competitive and aligned with experience and demonstrated capabilities
- Statutory MPF contributions included
- Health benefits provided
- Growth-based bonus incentives may be considered based on performance metrics (e.g. follower growth, engagement, content success)
- Long-term potential for expanded scope and responsibility
Send us your CV and a short note about why this role speaks to you. Be sure to include your portfolio or links to social work you’ve helped build — whether brand accounts, freelance work, or personal channels.
Ready to Join Us?We’re not just looking for someone to manage our social media — we’re looking for someone to elevate it. If you’re ready to help make Artemis Communications a standout voice online — and want to join a team that genuinely loves what they do — we’d love to hear from you.
